Trivia

  • The concept of Amane's Nen ability probably derives from an old fashioned type of employer-employee relationship where the "masters" use bells to summon butlers, housemaids, nannies, or other domestic workers in the home to serve them. The model of Amane's handbell is one of the types of bells that are also known as "servant bell(s)" and, when controlling Kurapika, Amane says he turned his victim into his faithful servant.[1]
