Assassin D was a medium build man with long sideburns, a large nose, and stern eyes. He wore a tabard with two straps across the chest and a tall cap.[1]
Personality[]
Like Assassin E, Assassin D was thoughtful and cooperative. He wished to proceed in a cautious manner by not only requesting a floor plan of the building but also suggesting that they choose code names. Kurapika said that along with the other assassins (besides Assassin A and Assassin B), Assassin D was intimidated by Silva and Zeno Zoldyck. When Assassins A and B were trying to convince the others to work alone, Assassin D reminded them of how dangerous the Troupe and suggested that it would be too dangerous to face them alone.[1]

Assassin D is one of the assassins hired by the Ten Dons to eliminate the Phantom Troupe. He suggests picking code names for each other and Assassin E adds that colors should work. After Zeno scoffs at their decision and mocks them for treating the job like a game, Assassin D wonders if he said something and asks what colors they want. Silva and Zeno give their own names, and after Assassin D is left confused and asks what color that is, Zeno informs him that those are their names and Silva says that they can call him whatever they want, adding that they won't be taking orders from them. Assassin A also scoffs at the idea of code names and suggests working by themselves. Assassin B agrees with him and cites the fact that each of them has a different style. Assassin D speaks up and stresses that it would be too dangerous to face the Troupe alone, with Assassin E agreeing that they need at least some teamwork to succeed.[1]
Assassin D's corpse
During the Zoldycks' sweep of the Cemetery Building for the infiltrator, Silva finds Assassin D's corpse slumped over in hallway. Zeno asks him what he thinks, and Silva says that the killer used a single strike from behind and suppressed his bloodlust perfectly.[2]

Since the Ten Dons hired him to eliminate the Phantom Troupe, it can be inferred that he was at least strong enough to be recognized as suitable for the job. However, none of his abilities were ever shown.
