Synopsis[]
Tsezguerra fearing Gon's potential
Having passed the selection test, Killua walks to where the seven applicants who have passed before him are waiting. As he takes a seat, a loud noise is heard that gets everyone's attention, and moments later Gon enters the room and meets up with Killua. Gon tells him that his huge sound was due to punching a wall. Back in the testing area, a large part of the wall is cracked, and Tsezguerra realizes Gon's terrifying potential.
While Gon teases Killua and keeps his special attack a secret, Tsezguerra appears and congratulates the 21 applicants who passed the selection test. After telling them that Battera will the pay 
50 billion to the person who can clear the game, he gives them the contract with all the details and says that they will leave Yorknew at 5 p.m.

Gon and Killua celebrate with Leorio as Gon asks him to read the contents of the contract. Leorio highlights the main points: 1) Battera can't be sued if they are hurt or killed; 2) any items obtained from the game will belong to Battera; 3) the person who clears the game gets a 50 billion reward. After the two sign their contracts, Leorio says that he should get going, and Gon wishes him luck on his exams, saying that he will be a doctor the next time they meet (with Leorio wondering if Gon thinks they won't see each other for four years). As Leorio rides away in a taxi, Killua is curious about the thing that can be brought back from the game, confident that Battera wants it at all costs.
All the applicants make their way by train to an old castle, and Tsezguerra leads them to a room full of JoyStation Consoles and monitors. He explains to them how the game works, saying that they will all end up in the same place and likening it to an MMORPG. As Killua tries his best to explain it to Gon, Tsezguerra gives out memory cards to those who don't have one and tells them to choose the order in which they will enter in order to avoid any arguments inside, since each person will have the system explained to them upon entering. The group decides the order based on rock-paper-scissors, and Gon ends up the winner.

After Tsezguerra assures him that he will end up in the same place as the others, Gon decides to use the memory card and ring that Ging gave him. Before entering, he thinks about Ging and the game he created, and even though he isn't sure what lies ahead, he trusts his father and knows this was his message. After Killua tells Gon to wait for him at the starting point, an aura surrounds Gon and he quickly disappears and enters the game. Tsezguerra says that once "now playing" is shown on the screen, the next player can enter. Inside the game, Gon is seen standing on a design of circles on the floor and looking toward a set of double doors.
