Are They Really Going to Masadora? (ホントにマサドラ
Synopsis[]
With Biscuit watching from above, Gon and Killua continue to use the rocks as shields and projectiles, forcing Binolt to constantly be on the move. Binolt is in disbelief at their stamina and worries about being unable to rest his body. Biscuit continues to observe, happy to see that their strategy is working in less than a day and that the two have realized it's a life-or-death situation. She compares them both to gemstones, praising Gon's resolve and endless potential and likening him to a diamond. She describes Killua as a sapphire, saying that it's a little unstable, but once some heat is applied, the intense blue color will become permanent. She becomes giddier and giddier over the comparison and is eager to train them as much as she can.
Binolt suddenly notices that the two boys have set rocks all around the arena, and Biscuit says that they will act as both obstacles and shields, considering the possibility that Gon and Killua will only need a single day to win. While Killua distracts Binolt, Gon punches one of the rocks beside him and showers him with rubble, confusing him and sending him to the ground. Killua seizes his chance and pins his right arm down, but before he can throw his punch, Gon yells for him to stop and Killua quickly leaps back, wondering why Gon stopped him. Gon says that since they still have time, they should keep going until they can face him one-on-one. Binolt laughs and says that they wasted their chance, but Gon replies that they will continue tomorrow, telling Binolt to rest since he's getting slower. Killua grins and knows that Gon is right, thinking that they won't be able to beat anyone if it takes both of them to win against an exhausted opponent.
As Gon and Killua rest sitting against rocks, Binolt stays awake and watches them, but when he attempts to stand up, the two immediately open their eyes and watch him as well. Biscuit notes that because Binolt's Zetsu isn't perfect, he won't be able to sneak up, on them. She notes their heightened senses and that the two have a much higher potential than Binolt, who suddenly has a flashback to when he was a young child roaming the streets. He finds a wallet on the ground and sees a couple walking past it. The woman realizes that it's missing from her purse, and Binolt kindly goes to hand it to her, but the two suddenly look at him with disgust and contempt.
Back in the present, Binolt wonders why he thought of that just now as he fights against Gon alone. Killua realizes that he and Gon are getting faster, surprised by how much experience they have gained as well as the difference between assassination and a life or death battle. As they take turns fighting him, Binolt again thinks back when he was a kid, having been beaten by the man for simply trying to do a good dead. Binolt says that he didn't even want a reward or for them to say thanks, but just to live as a decent human.
After ten days, Gon stops his punch right in front of Binolt's stomach, and Binolt finally gives up and asks Gon to kill him. Gon, however, simply thanks him and says that they were able to improve because of his help. Binolt promises to turn himself in once he leaves the island, asking if they will let him go. Biscuit says that he may go, asking Gon if that was his plan from start and reminding him that Binolt is a murderer. Gon replies that Binolt helped them, and as he and Killua chat, Biscuit thinks that Gon is a flawless specimen, but notes that he is walking a fine line.
