Success (
Synopsis[]
The Bombers and Tsezguerra's team meet at the appointed place and complete the trade. However, as Tsezguerra begins to walk away, Genthru comments that the trade isn't fair. Tsezguerra's teammates yell that it is fair since they gave him three cards, but Genthru replies it isn't fair for them, and he feels like he is being given charity. In reality, Genthru is merely stalling for time as Bara and Sub, camouflaged behind the other team, come out of hiding and roll Risky Dice, each with a Tax Collector's Gauntlet on their wrist.
As Genthru proposes that Tsezguerra chooses one of the two cards he is holding, one being useless and the other being "Angel's Breath," their rolls are successful and Bara and Sub charge toward Tsezguerra's team. Before their opponents can react, they use their gauntlets to cast "Levy" and steal eight cards, with all three then using "Return" to flee to Masadora. Baffled, one of Tsezguerra's teammates wants to go after them immediately, but they check their books first and discover that they are missing valuable cards, two of which they had monopolies on. Tsezguerra sees that they were all *specified slot cards and realizes that Genthru's men must have rolled the Risky Dice.
It's revealed that the two who looked like Bara and Sub were actually the Bombers' captives who had their appearances altered through an item. Tsezguerra's teammates want to use an "Accompany" to go after them, but Tsezguerra orders his team to wait and asks the two captives if Genthru is the Bomber. One of the captives says that he doesn't know, but the other assumes that it's possible since Genthru blew off the head of the guy who was caught with him. Tsezguerra's teammates are startled by the revelation, and Tsezguerra explains that Genthru used to work with the large group of players that suddenly died all at once. He remembers Genthru bringing up the Bomber during a previous encounter and says that his segue was awkward, surmising that it's a keyword used to activate his ability.
Because of Genthru's dangerous ability, Tsezguerra warns his men that confronting Genthru directly would not be a good idea. The others worry that Genthru will clear the game, but Tsezguerra uses "List" and confirms that no one has acquired "Plot of Bleach" yet, stressing that they need to find it first. His teammates bring up that they can get a monopoly with "Clone" and Mimic," also mentioning that they still have their "Voucher." Tsezguerra and his comrades then use an "Accompany" to travel to Soufrabi.
In Masadora, the Bombers congratulate each other on the mission's success. Bara says that they have 93 cards now, but Sub corrects him by replying that it's 92 since they reverted one, with Genthru focusing on the fact that they broke Tsezguerra's monopolies. Bara adds that they're waiting for Hagakushi and Tokharone to revert two of the remaining seven cards, and Sub says that the card they reverted was "Mad Scientist's Plastic Surgery," but he is confident that they can get it again. Genthru says that the main issue is "Plot of Beach," but they decide to retrieve "Mad Scientist's Plastic Surgery," "X-Ray Goggles," and "Tree of Plenty" first, then going after "Plot of Bleach" and finally taking "Wild Luck Alexandrite" from someone else. He confidently adds that they should decide what three cards they want to take back and how they will spend the reward money.
Meanwhile, Gon's Paladin's Necklace dispels a "Fake" spell placed on a "Favor Cushion" during a trade, and the owner apologizes and gives him the real one. Killua complains that some players are such cheats, and Biscuit comments that the necklace is quite handy. Gon wants to confirm if it lifts curses on things he touches, and Killua says that it works on cards. Gon seems disappointed, and Killua wonders what he had in mind. Gon explains that he hoped to use the necklace to cure the Sick Villagers, guessing that they might be cursed. After realizing that he means the ninja from before, Biscuit comments that since they aren't cards, it probably won't work, but Killua replies that it may be worth trying.
The three return to the village and ask the inhabitants if they will trust them and put their lives in their care. After one of them relays their gratitude and agrees to trust them, all the villagers turn into the "Sick Villagers" card, but when Gon uses the necklace, it turns into "Healthy Villagers." As a token of their gratitude, the villagers present Gon with a small box. Inside is a Wild Luck Alexandrite ring that transforms into a "Wild Luck Alexandrite" card.
