Synopsis[]
Razor's overwhelming power
As everyone waits for the first move, Goreinu gets a running start and says that this is a greeting, throwing the ball fast toward one of Razor's Nen beasts and easily knocking it down. His white gorilla throws the ball back to him, and he quickly takes out another, with Rodriot and Kess commenting on how easy the match will be. With three of his devils now standing outside the court, Razor says that they are ready to defeat their team, but Goreinu winds up again and throws it straight toward Razor, telling him to try if he can. However, Razor easily catches the shot with one hand and prepares for a counterattack. Goreinu becomes incredibly nervous and wonders if Razor is passing from far back in the court as he starts to wind up. Razor suddenly hurls the ball at incredible speed directly toward Goreinu, who realizes that if he doesn't dodge it, he will undoubtedly be killed. He uses his White Goreinu ability to switch positions with his white gorilla, who takes the hit and is decapitated, slowly breaking apart.
The others are left stunned as Razor catches the rebound and an exasperated Goreinu kneels outside the court. Razor understands Goreinu's ability, and the white gorilla disappears entirely. Biscuit and Tsezguerra both realize that after enduring that level of fear from Razor's attack, Goreinu won't be able to help much anymore. Killua confirms with the referee that only the white gorilla is out, and the referee also reminds them that Goreinu will need to use "back" to return inside the court (unless he uses the ability on his other Nen beast). As Goreinu tells himself that he isn't done yet, Razor suddenly passes the ball quickly to one of his devils outside the court, and they begin passing it among themselves so quickly that the others can't follow its movement.
Tsezguerra being hit in the back
One of the devils gets behind Tsezguerra and throws the ball toward his back, with both Gon and Killua warning him to look out. The ball strikes Tsezguerra hard as he braces for the impact and then falls to the floor. Killua picks up the ball and can't believe how heavy it feels, likening it to being hit by a bowling ball. Biscuit attends to Tsezguerra as he coughs up blood, and Razor says that he was able to avoid being killed by focusing his aura in his back after he heard their warning. He adds that broken bones may have punctured his organs, ordering his pirates to give him first aid, but Tsezguerra adamantly refuses as he rises to his feet before quickly sitting down.
The referee informs Tsezguerra that if he can't continue playing because of an injury, he will be removed from the game. He adds that if they win, he will still be counted for his team and so they will still receive all eight points. Rodriot and Kess check on him, and Tsezguerra realizes how out of shape he is, lamenting how cautious he has been and saying that it will take months to get his instincts back. He jealously looks toward Gon and Killua, saying that while his combat skills are better than theirs overall, their agility and reflexes have surpassed his. He calms down and thinks back to training with Gon for beach volleyball, realizing that he hasn't practiced the basics in years and that he will have to start all over again.
Hisoka utilizing his Bungee Gum
Still holding the ball, Killua thinks to himself that they should find a way to keep eliminating the other team while not giving up possession of the ball. Gon suddenly gets Hisoka's attention, and he understands what Gon wants, asking for the ball from Killua, who realizes that his Bungee Gum is the perfect technique for that strategy. Hisoka attaches his ability to the ball and hurls it toward one of the devils, easily knocking it down and retracting the ball right back to his hand. He asks to let himself have fun, playfully wondering if the match will end so easily. Razor chuckles and tells Hisoka to bring it on as he and his devils ready themselves for the next throw.
