Face-Off: Part 6 (
Synopsis[]
As Kess, Rodriot, and Barry celebrate Hisoka's successful strike, Killua realizes just how effective the strategy will be and wonders who Hisoka should attack next. He asks the referee if the last person inside the court is allowed to say "back" the moment they get hit, but Number 0 says that it isn't allowed since there would technically be no one inside the court for a split second. He adds, however, that someone else can say "back" right when the last person gets hit (which would allow the person who said it to come back inside the court). Killua gets Hisoka's attention, and Hisoka understands that they need to leave Razor for last.
Razor recognizes Hisoka's skill and doubts that his three remaining devils inside the court can catch the ball. Hisoka throws another hard strike, but as Killua hopes that it will take out both Numbers 6 and 7, the two suddenly merge together into a larger Number 13 who hangs on tight to the ball. Hisoka is unable to pull it back with his Bungee Gum, undoing it after he realizes how tough the devil is. Killua gets the referee's attention and angrily asks if merging is allowed, and the referee says that it is. Killua wonders if splitting is also allowed, and the referee says that it is as long as the player count doesn't exceed the original total number.
Gon and Killua know that they will have to get the ball back from Razor, with both using Ken to prepare for the strike. Tsezguerra notes how smooth and beautiful their auras are, realizing how much the two have been practicing and how easily they will be able to adapt in battle. However, he worries that their Ken won't be enough if Razor throws at full strength, adding that taking damage to get the ball back is only inevitable. Razor is glad to see that they can use Ken, saying that they shouldn't die if they're lucky. He asks Gon if he's ready, and Gon tells him to bring it on.
As Razor winds up and throws the ball incredibly fast toward them, Tsezguerra realizes that their plan may backfire, but Gon puts his hands in front of his head and uses Ko to block the incoming shot, sending him flying back into the wall as both his shoes come off. Everyone wonders where the ball went, eventually seeing that it's lodged into the ceiling, and Razor comments that he had it built thick for that reason. Killua and Biscuit run to check on Gon, who is adamant that he's fine as blood runs down his forehead. He says that even though he used Ko on his head and hands, his legs weren't strong enough to take the impact. He smiles and says that he can still move his hands, confident that he will catch Razor's next throw, with both Killua and Biscuit left anxious.
The referee notes where the ball would fall and declares that Gon's team will gain possession. However, he adds that since the ceiling is an extension of the floor and walls, Gon is considered out. Gon adamantly tells Killua and: Biscuit that he will be the one to use "back." The two eventually agree, but tell him that he can only do so once their team is down to two players. The referee restarts the match, and Killua tells Gon to get first aid, throwing the ball back and forth with Goreinu in the meantime.
After Gon tells Kess and Rodriot that he's fine, Goreinu angrily looks toward Razor and says that he needs to get payback, getting a running start and winding up for a strong throw. Killua notices the black gorilla suddenly disappear and reappear in front of him, and Goreinu throws the ball toward the gorilla. He then uses his Black Goreinu ability to switch its position with Razor, who gets hit right in the face as he realizes that the two gorillas have different abilities.
