Three-Way Struggle: Part 3 (
Summary[]
In Masadora, a player is seen leaving the spell card shop and checking his book, saying that he can't seem to get a "Leave" card. Smiling, the three Bombers approach him, but after some time passes, the player is seen lying bruised and bloody in the forest outside the city. He pleads with them to spare his life and shows him his book after they ask. Bara is happy to see an "Accompany" card, and Genthru tells him to take any C-rank cards as well. Bara and Sub then use "Peek" to check his list of encountered players, learning that he hasn't met "him" and that he's innocent. Genthru asks the player if he has heard of the Bomber, and he says that he's just heard rumors.
Genthru reveals that it's the three of them and tells the player that he has set a bomb on his body that he can detonate at any time. He orders the player to bring them one "Magnetic Force" or two "Accompany" cards, and then they will disarm it. After they tell him to use "Contact" once he has the card(s), the player makes his way back to Masadora and the Bombers take another hostage soon after, stealing yet another "Accompany" card. However, when Bara and Sub use "Peek" to check the player's book, they see that he has met Tsezguerra. All three seem upset at first, but they then put on smiles and yell "busted!!" The player wonders what's going on, but an explosion suddenly goes off and Genthru says that all suspects have to be punished.
As the player's corpse vanishes and the Bombers make their way back to Masadora, Goreinu watches from the shadows and can't believe their ruthlessness. He contacts Tsezguerra and tells him that the Bombers are waiting around the spell card shop and attacking everyone that buys spell cards. He guesses that Genthru's team has learned that a player is supplying Tsezguerra with spell cards, explaining that the three are checking the books of the players that enter the shop and killing those that have met Tsezguerra in the game. He adds that they are taking cards from the players and, if they don't kill them, forcing them to collect more cards for them.
After Goreinu thanks them and says that he would have been caught if they hadn't warned him, Tsezguerra says that they will follow the Bombers' movement, telling Goreinu to keep his distance for now. He addresses Kess with the name "Dopple," and Kess understands the cue, using his Silent Worker ability to locate Genthru and his team. He says that they are staying in Masadora, and after Tsezguerra adds that they need to check their cards, Rodriot uses "Clairvoyant Snake" and feeds a card to it, learning that Genthru's team has 16 "Accompany" cards and two "Magnetic Force" cards. Tsezguerra says that while they have 27 "Accompany" cards and four "Magnetic Force" cards, Genthru's team will catch up in four or five days if they keep attacking other players. Rodriot points out that their own team also has 36 "Return" cards, but Tsezguerra replies that Genthru's team is aware of that. He is confident that things are looking good and says that they need to delay them for twelve more days.
In the badlands, Gon is seen still trying the Emission exercise, but he falls back from exhaustion after another failed attempt. He remembers Biscuit's advice to think about it like a water gun and to collect all the aura in his body and push it out from his hand. She had also told him to open the nodes in his hand all at once, stressing that he needs to use power, speed, and timing in unison. As Gon looks at his hand in frustration, Killua along with Biscuit note his lack of progress, with Killua saying that he should have gone step by step since he hasn't improved any in ten days.
Biscuit reminds him that they have ten more days left, but Killua replies that it all depends on Tsezguerra, worried that the trade won't be worth it since they still have 30 cards to collect while Tsezguerra's team will only need two (besides No. 0) once they receive No. 75. Biscuit proposes just using force to take the cards from Genthru's team, but Killua is sure that Gon won't agree to it. He focuses their attention on the plan, and as the two gaze up at an enormous rock, Biscuit asks if it will be big enough and Killua confirms it will be.
In Battera's Castle, the multi-billionaire is seen alone in his room looking at a television screen and crying. Back in the game, Gon tries his best to make progress in the Emission training, Tsezguerra makes a trade with another player, and Genthru and his team continue their torture of other players, bringing their total number of "Accompany" cards to 48. He tells Bara and Sub that Tsezguerra's team only has 45 equivalents of "Accompany," "Return," and "Magnetic Force," confident that the three of them will easily win the game of tag. As he uses an "Accompany" card to travel to Tsezguerra, Kess gets the group's attention and tells them that Genthru's team is on the move. They all look up toward the sky, and Tsezguerra says that they are already there.
