Gon decides to pick the three cards "Plot of Beach", "Blue Planet", and "Paladin's Necklace" to take with him outside of Greed Island. After saying goodbye to Elena, he teleports back to the real world where Killua and Biscuit await.
Biscuit tells Gon to try saying "Book", and to their surprise, Gon's card binder appears before him. Taking out the "Blue Planet" card, Gon "gains" the card and gives the jewel-like Blue Planet to Biscuit, a treasure she has longed for. She then questions Gon and Killua's choice of cards, when they proceed to show her why they choose the cards they did.
Gon "gains" the "Paladin's Necklace" and holds the "Plot of Beach" card in front of it. The "Plot of Beach" card transforms into an "Accompany" card. By cloning an "Accompany" into the specified slot card "Plot of Beach", Gon was able to bring the card out of Greed Island, and through the ability of the Paladin's Necklace, the spell put on the card was broken, defaulting the card to its original state.
Gon recalls that upon entering Greed Island, the first person he met was Goreinu. However, the player list inside his binder listed a player even before Goreinu—"Nigg". Being an anagram of Ging, Gon reasons that surely it must be his father, and that by using "Accompany," he will be able to teleport to him and bring Killua along. Gon tells Biscuit that the first thing he will do when he meets Ging is to introduce Killua and tell him that he's his best friend.
After asking Biscuit if she would like to come with them, Gon and Killua use an "Accompany" and are sent to "Nigg". Upon their arrival, the two are not met with Gon's father, Ging, but rather, Ging's student, Kite. Gon catches up with Kite over dinner. Kite tells Gon that he found Ging awhile ago and offers to tell him where he is. Gon decides that he will find Ging on his own, without Kite's direction.
In a flashback, Ging asks Elena to make it that if Gon used the card "Accompany", to send him to Kite, but if he used a "Magnetic Force", which would not allow Killua to follow, send him to him. Elena, although accepting of the conditions, questions Ging's judgment, to which Ging replies that he doesn't want to see Gon if he's a wimp who has friends around him all the time. Meanwhile, off the southern coast of the Balsa Islands, a mysterious creature washes ashore on a beach.
