vs. Hagya's Squad: Part 2 ((バー)(サス)()()()()()()()()ハギャ(たい)()()()()()()()()()②, Bāsasu Hagya Tai (Ni)) is the 195th chapter of the Hunter × Hunter manga, written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi.

Synopsis[]

Chap 195 - Kite, Gon, and Killua surrounded by Chimera Ants

Kite, Gon, and Killua surrounded by Chimera Ants

With the three Hunters surrounded by numerous Chimera Ants, Frog gives them three options: they can choose the order in which they fight against them one-on-one, try to escape, or give up and surrender themselves. He adds that he doesn't recommend the second option because it would anger them and cause the three of them to suffer more. He also says that the third option would be the worst since it would make them even more upset than the second. With Kite happy to hear that the fights will be one-on-one, Gon and Killua play rock-paper-scissors to see who will go first. After Gon wins and begins walking forward, Kite observes that the Ants are showing human characteristics at the expense of their teamwork as a species, hoping that they can use this to their advantage.

The Ants draw lots to see who will go up against Gon, and an armadillo-looking Ant named Baro is chosen. Gon asks him what the conditions for victory are, to which the Ant replies that the battle will end when one of them is dead. Gon then asks if they really have to fight to the death, and Baro asks if Gon is half-asleep, telling him that he will be dead anyway if he loses since he will be fed to the Queen. Gon agrees to the terms, but tells Baro that he doesn't have to die if he loses, saying that he will spare his life if he gives up and promises to stop eating humans. The other Ants roar with laughter and tell Baro that the boy is treating him like a wuss, adding that he has the most spunk they have seen so far.

Chap 195 - Baro charging toward Gon

Baro charging toward Gon

Extremely annoyed, Baro rolls into a ball and charges full speed toward Gon, who manages to dodge the attack as the Ant crashes into a tree. Baro tries the same attack again, with Killua confused by his strategy, but the Ant suddenly uses his tail to change direction, crashing into Gon's midsection and slamming him against a tree. Killua yells out to see if he's okay, and Gon rises to his feet, saying that he's fine as his aura swells around him.

Baro chuckles and says that he must be tough since the other humans were puking their guts out afterward. He confidently declares that he can keep attacking forever, and Kite realizes that he's not wrong, wondering what Gon will do to counter him. Before Baro begins attacking again, he tells Gon that the main reason he kills humans is not to eat them or offer them to the Queen, but because he enjoys it, explaining that he loves the sound their guts make when they come out of the mouth.

Baro begins charging toward Gon, who quickly increases the amount of aura around himself and braces for impact, grabbing the sides of Baro's shell and doing his best to hold on. The other Ants are left stunned, and as Gon angrily declares that Razor's spike was stronger than Baro's attack, he begins to crush the Ant as he screams out in agony. With Baro lying dead on the ground, Gon stands determined with his aura around him as the other Ants look on in shock. Killua says that they should hurry things up, asking which one of them will fight him. Rhino chuckles and tells Killua not to get cocky, promising to show him some real hell.
