vs. Hagya's Squad: Part 3 (VSハギャ隊(3), Bāsasu Hagya Tai (3)) is the 196th chapter of the Hunter × Hunter manga, written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi.

Synopsis

Rhino boasts that he is ten times stronger than Baro, but Killua scoffs at his confidence, stating that it doesn't mean much. Kite notes how the aura of both boys increased once in battle, confident that they're prepared for combat but worried about Gon's slow start. Although he believes that they can make it to the Queen before she gives birth to the King, he says that he still has a bad feeling, worrying that he's missed something and describing it as a nagging uneasiness.

Meanwhile, in the Chimera Ant nest, Rammot revels in his newfound power and realizes that he can concentrate his Nen anywhere on his body. Peggy points out that they need to study it further, saying that once they learn how to use it properly, they can combine it with the power they're born with and turn it into an imposing weapon. Still reeling from Rammot's punch, Colt staggers to his feet and states that Zazan had captured one of the "rare" humans a few days ago, telling them to find him since he may still be in the storehouse.

With his hands bloody and his aura swelling around him, Killua is seen to have easily killed Rhino, asking the frightened Chimera Ants if there is anyone ten times stronger than Rhino. Kite is glad that the officers were not an issue, thinking that he's worrying over nothing. Agitated and flustered, Frog announces that he will be the one to fight the next opponent. Kite's Crazy Slots spins and stops at 2, suddenly transforming into a large scythe. Kite seems disappointed at the roll, but Crazy Slots angrily replies that he should be grateful. Gon and Killua sense that the weapon is extremely dangerous, and Kite whispers to them to jump straight up in three seconds.

Kite readies his scythe, and Frog suddenly feels terrified, realizing that he has felt this emotion before. As Frog tries to remember when, Kite swings the scythe in a circle and uses Silent Waltz to bisect all the Ants around him. Frog's head flies through the air, and he remembers that the earlier fear he felt was death, thinking back to when he was eaten by the Queen. When the two boys land, Kite explains that Silent Waltz is the only technique he can use with the scythe and that it won't disappear until he uses it. He describes it as annoying, and this causes Killua to wonder why he would make it that way.

While they walk through the remains, Kite warns them to be careful where they step since cutting the Ants in half doesn't immediately kill them. As Gon stares at the bodies, Kite asks him if he is okay, stressing that they will be witnessing many such massacres further on, so he shouldn't feel sympathy for the enemy and lose focus. Gon assures him that he's okay, saying that he won't sympathize with people who don't value their comrades' lives. However, Kite thinks that that may be the problem, asking himself what Gon would do if he faced an opponent who cared for his comrades.
