vs. Hagya's Squad: Part 3 (VSハギャ隊(3), Bāsasu Hagya Tai (3)) is the 196th chapter of the Hunter × Hunter manga, written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi.

Synopsis

Rhino boasts that he is ten times stronger than the other guy, and warns Killua to be wary. But Killua is not at all intimidated by his statement, stating that it is nothing to brag about. Kite observes that both the boys are good fighters, but Gon is a slow starter, and if everything went smoothly, they would be able to reach the Queen's nest before she gave birth to the King. But he still gets a bad feeling about the whole thing, like there was something they were over-looking.

Meanwhile, in the Chimera Ant Nest, Rammot realizes that he can concentrate his Nen anywhere in his body, according to his will. Peggy points out that he needs to study 'it' further. If they learned how to truly use Nen, they could co-ordinate it with their inborn talents. Colt staggers to his feet and states that Zazan had captured one of the 'rare humans' alive. If he is somehow still alive in the storage room, they could find him and study him.

Killua easily defeats Rhino, and asks if there is anyone who is 10 times stronger than 'this weakling'. Agitated and flustered, Frog announces that he will be the one to fight the next opponent, Kite. The Hunter's Crazy Slots stops rolling at 2, and transforms into a long scythe. The two boys sense that the weapon is extremely dangerous, and Kite whispers to them to jump in three seconds.

The boys follow his order and jump, while Kite swings his scythe, killing everything within its range, destroying the forest around him, and effectively killing off all the Chimera Ants gathered. When the two boys land, Kite explains that it was the only way he could use the scythe, and that it would not disappear unless he used it at least once. This makes Killua once again wonder why he has such an inconvenient ability.

While they walk through the corpses, Kite warns them that they had to be careful, as cutting them in half doesn't immediately kill them. As Gon stares at the corpses, the Hunter asks him what was wrong, and states that they would be witnessing many such massacres further on, so he shouldn't feel sympathy for the enemy and lose focus. Gon assures him firmly that he won't, since he didn't care for people who did not value their comrades' lives. However, Kite thinks to himself that that was what concerned him the most: what would Gon do if he faced an opponent who cared for his comrades?
