Morel and Knov are shocked by Netero's statement that their enemy could be stronger than him. They think that if his statement were true, no Hunter in the world would have a chance. Netero reminds them that it's been more than 50 years since he was considered the most powerful Nen master, saying that they are probably evenly matched with him now. But Knov assures him that he is still strong enough, telling him to be more confident. Netero quips about how aging sucks and Morel asks him if he is still willing to take on the enemy, and Netero says that he would prefer not to fight at all, reminding them that the Queen is their only target.
Observing the nest in the distance, Netero says that it will tough to slip past Pitou's En and that the problem is how to win, asking them for any suggestions. Knov recognizes that Netero already knows their answer, and he tells him that they will take them out silently one at a time. He suddenly opens a portal in the ground and pulls out a large object, throwing it to Morel who unwraps it to reveal a very large pipe. Morel uses the pipe and blows out smoke to form dozens of rabbits, saying that they should take it slowly and enjoy it. He hopes to find out how many of the enemies there are, sending out the rabbits in the direction of the nest.
Sitting on guard outside the nest, Pitou senses something and sees multiple targets moving closer, unable to tell what they are exactly but knowing that they aren't living things. As Pitou wonders if it's an enemy ability, an unknown figure approaches and says that it may be best to wait and see, adding that the targets can simply be eliminated if they get too close. Pitou agrees that they could be decoys and wonders if they were talking out loud, but the figure says that they just thought they were. Pitou asks who they are, and the Chimera Ant introduces himself as a fellow Royal Guard named Shaiapouf. He tells them that Menthuthuyoupi will awaken soon as well, and Pitou thinks that he is a little strange, which Pouf acknowledges.
Meanwhile, Gon and Killua manage to maintain their Ren for three hours. Biscuit congratulates them, and the two immediately collapse from exhaustion, but she doesn't allow them to rest, stating that they have to go see Knuckle. The boys wonder what she means exactly, and she bluntly states that they're going to fight him. Palm looks on as the two boys quickly object and complain, but Biscuit manages to calm them down by stating that if they think they are going to lose, they just need to run away and then have a rematch the next day. She informs them that they will practice Ren for three hours every day and then go challenge Knuckle until they win, which leaves both boys nervous.
Knuckle is once again in the park, waiting for his opponents to show up and feeding the stray dog he came across earlier. When he sees Gon and Killua approaching him, he is in disbelief that his opponents are two kids, smirking maniacally and saying that he has never felt so insulted.
