6: Part 11 (6-(11), Roku (11)) is the 254th chapter of the Hunter × Hunter manga, written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi.

Synopsis

Leol defiantly tells Morel that he won't get any turns since he will be swallowed up by the waves. Smiling, Morel says that he has learned three things so far, with the first being that Leol's Nen ability allows him to somehow use others' abilities. The second is that Leol only uses his headphones as a good luck charm or because he's receiving orders from someone, with Morel thinking to himself that if he were using it to upgrade his ability by limiting one of his senses, Leol shouldn't be able to hear him. Leol asks about the third thing, and Morel angrily tells him that he won't be alive much longer since Inamura belonged to a Hunter named Grachan, who was sent to help eliminate the Chimera Ants. Morel believes that Leol defeated him and says that he deserves to die today for taking his ability. Leol quickly corrects him, saying that not only did he act in self-defense against someone trying to hunt him down, but that he's merely borrowing the Hunter's ability. Morel doesn't believe him, but Leol doesn't particularly mind and knows he has to defeat Morel (as much as he wants to obtain his ability).

Chap 254 - Leol using Big Wall

Leol using Big Wall

Leol suddenly rises up with a giant wave, using Big Wall to immobilize and drown Morel. The Ant hopes to strike him with his board or harpoon, but Morel doesn't appear above the water, with Leol remembering that he boasted about his lung capacity and wondering if he can stay under as long as a whale. A group of bubbles suddenly appears on the water's surface, and Leol eagerly charges toward them with his harpoon at the ready. But groups of bubbles begin to appear all around him, and Leol guesses that Morel may have changed his smoke into multiple hoses to keep Leol from finding him. Leol yells out to Morel, but suddenly considers that the bubbles could be a decoy and that Morel is swimming through the labyrinth of stairs back to the surface. Having told Welfin not to interfere, he resolves to not let Morel escape, but suddenly feels dizzy and grabs at his chest, thinking it could be poison.

The dizzy feeling causes Leol to fall from his surfboard, and he struggles in the water, unable to breathe as he sinks further and further down. Leol realizes that he was the one that got cornered, afraid for his life and beginning to swallow water. As his eyes start to roll back in his head, he suddenly spots Morel at the bottom of the chapel using his pipe to form numerous smoke hoses. Leol wonders what poison was used, and Morel says to himself that it's a common gas in the air: carbon dioxide. It's explained that CO2 can become toxic in large quantities very quickly, with 5% causing headaches and heart difficulties and 20% leading to death within seconds. It's revealed that Morel had been consuming the oxygen in the sealed chapel and was converting it to carbon dioxide as quickly as he could. Saying that he had started his attack before Leol had and hoping that Grachan's ability has been returned to him, Morel begins to swim his way out of the underground chapel.

Chap 254 - Palm infiltrating the palace

Palm infiltrating the palace

In Area D beneath the palace, Bizeff is seen snoring on a large bed as Palm gets dressed and says she can now move freely for the next couple of hours. Removing her contacts and resolved to see the Ants with her own eyes, she uses Bizeff's laptop and says that she had observed Bizeff's actions to see how to escape upstairs. She knows that he won't be able to tell anyone about her escape since he kept the prostitutes a secret from the Royal Guards. She enters the elevator and nervously knows that her targets are upstairs. The elevator reaches the palace's main floor, and Palm begins her reconnaissance mission.
