Pain (
Synopsis[]
As Pouf flies in with extreme confidence to kill Komugi, Killua uses Godspeed to easily dodge the attack and Pouf realizes his speed will be nearly impossible, to match. As he panics over Meruem's impending arrival, he says he has a perfect magic trick and uses Beelzebub to send out his clones. Killua believes that he's using these smaller clones to avoid damaging Komugi, and he easily outruns them, saying he wouldn't even need to use Godspeed to do so. But Pouf laughs, saying that Killua's plan has been thwarted, and tells him the King will forgive him if he surrenders. Komugi perks up at the word "King," and Pouf relishes that Killua is running further away, hoping that Meruem won't see him when he finally reaches the palace.
Killua understands how important it is to hold onto Komugi, who recognizes Pouf's voice, surmising that the King must be "dear leader," as she calls him, and wonders who it is that's carrying her. Pouf's clones continue to yell at Killua to surrender, claiming he will put Komugi under a spell with his words. With Killua still confused at Pouf's plan, Komugi begins pulling at Killua's hair, wondering why it feels like static, and tries to escape off his back. He tries to assure that he's rescuing her, asking her if she trusts bugs more than him, but she has no clue what he means, with Killua quickly figuring out that she's blind.
During the confusion, Pouf suddenly swoops down and Killua barely moves out of the way in time. Pouf claims his "poison" has worked and wonders how well he can run with Komugi struggling against him. Killua works out that not only is Pouf going for Komugi, but he's trying to kill her. Pouf laughs maniacally and knows they won't kill her since she has value as a hostage. Killua calmly sets her down on the ground, saying that she's unconscious and that Pouf is really annoying him. With Komugi lying at his feet, he surrounds himself in a circle of electricity and threatens to kill Pouf if he crosses it. Pouf immediately flies in with no hesitation, and Killua easily destroys his right eye, telling him how easy it is to burn cells with electricity. Pouf realizes how dangerous the situation is, with Meruem sensing his frustration and offering to help, but Pouf calmly declines and says recovering his memory is their priority.
At that moment, they hold the palace in their sights, and Pouf proudly showcases the waves of hypnotized humans below him, stressing that Meruem's destiny is to have the world flourish beneath his light. But a pain stirs in Meruem as he stops in midair and notes that there was something else, asking why the palace is so destroyed. Youpi tells him that it was caused by their fight with the enemy, and Meruem asks to see the remains of his living quarters. Pouf suddenly realizes that if he sees the Gungi board and its pieces, it could trigger his memory of Komugi. His clones fly away from Killua in order to find all of them as quickly as possible. Elsewhere, Gon and Pitou reach Peijin, looking toward a large mansion in the mountains where Kite is being kept.
