Synopsis[]

Chap 305 - Pitou using Doctor Blythe to heal their own arm

Pitou using Doctor Blythe to heal their own arm

Gon remembers Kite's words about animals liking good Hunters, as he continues to say that he killed Kite. Words begin to flood his mind: he regrets what he could have done, wonders if Kite is really dead, realizes Pitou is to blame, not himself, desperately begs for help and repeats that Kite is dead, saying no again and again and again as tears stream down his face. Pitou suddenly manifests Doctor Blythe, and Gon thinks Pitou must have been lying before and that they really can revive Kite. But Pitou begins to heal their own broken arm, confusing Gon and making him wonder why they're not healing Kite first.

Killua nervously asks Palm what's happening, and she says she isn't entirely sure since she can only see them, not hear what's going on, but she sees that Pitou isn't healing Kite and spots Gon crouched on the floor. Killua assures himself that as long as they have Komugi, Pitou won't be able to disobey them. Pouf suddenly appears before them, saying that Pitou thinks Komugi is safe away from them and that they can freely kill Gon now. He promises to stop Pitou if they hand over Komugi, but Killua quickly snatches up the segment and destroys it. Palm catches Komugi and assures Killua she will take care of her, with Killua using Speed of Lightning to reach Gon and desperately hoping that he can hang on until he gets there.

Gon transforming in front of Pitou

Pitou finishes healing their arm, quickly testing it out, and apologizes to Gon, saying that he has to be killed for the King's sake. Still crying, Gon is even more confused and wonders why they won't even try after all he went through. He calls them a liar, slowly rising to his feet as an ominous gust begins to fill the mansion and startles Pitou with confusion. With his face emotionless, Gon says he's had enough and just wants things to end, his hair suddenly billowing up and his entire figure transforming. He coldly states he doesn't care what happens to himself, asking for all the power he will ever have. Pitou quickly uses Terpsichora, understanding that they were right about the threat Gon could pose to the King and knowing they have to kill the unrecognizable figure standing opposite.
