Synopsis[]
Killua witnessing Gon's final strike against Pitou
As Killua finally reaches Peijin, he sees a flash of aura coming from the forest, its sound being described as "a saw being drawn across steel strings." He immediately notices it and heads toward its location, only to see what he wasn't expecting. He encounters Gon, now an adult, who kneels beside Pitou, pummeling their head continuously. With a powerful Jajanken, Gon finally shatters their skull. He stands up and addresses to Kite that he's finished the job, just like he told him to. Stunned, Killua calls out to Gon and asks if it's really him. Gon acknowledges his presence as he turns around, revealing his tears. Seeing Gon's new form, Killua is immediately reminded of Biscuit. However, he deduces that while Biscuit could change her physical appearance at will, Gon must have done something drastic to get this much aura.
Pitou's Terpsichora activating after death
With no warning, Pitou's Terpsichora activates and manipulates their headless corpse to attack Gon. Killua reacts to the movement and tries to save him, only for the corpse to move faster and cut off Gon's right arm. Due to the Royal Guard's loyalty to the King, their Terpsichora has become stronger with Nen amplified after death—its sole intention to kill Gon. While there was no time to blink as Pitou's body leaps toward them, Gon reassures Killua that he's all right. He feels content as he can now be like Kite in the end. Punching Pitou's body back, he grabs his severed arm and impales the corpse into the ground with it.
Gon prepares to unleash one last Jajanken, much stronger than the last, to destroy Pitou once and for all. Killua screams out to Gon, knowing what will happen to him if he uses too much aura. At that moment, Gon snaps out of his rage and looks at him tearfully. An explosion comes shortly after, destroying the whole forest.
