Synopsis[]

Chap 391 - Hinrigh, Zakuro, and Lynch

Hinrigh giving instructions to Zakuro and Lynch

As the passengers on Tier 3 scream and run away in terror from the two decapitated soldiers, Zakuro says that they will keep looking for Hisoka as planned. Hinrigh tells Zakuro and Lynch to contact him first before doing anything if they find Hisoka. He adds that he plans to track down one of the Heil-Ly members while looking for others.

After reaching an empty corridor with Lynch, Zakuro uses his ability and causes numerous drops of blood to move along the wall. Lynch says that she will never get used to how gross it is, but Zakuro is disappointed by her reaction, adding that each drop is doing its best to find Hisoka. Lynch plucks one of them from the wall and tries to squeeze it, wondering how to kill them. Zakuro asks why she would want to kill one, revealing that they will run out of Nen in 30 to 40 minutes and turn back to normal blood. Lynch returns to their mission and asks if all she needs to do is punch the information out of anyone suspicious that the drops find. Zakuro replies that she asks the same thing every time and doesn't pay much attention to him.

Chap 391 - Hinrigh surveying Tier 3

Hinrigh surveying Tier 3

With several pigeons flying around him, Hinrigh reaches a crowded area and sees several people taking pictures, approaching a nearby soldier, and explaining the situation. The two ask anyone with a camera to cooperate in an ongoing investigation until Hinrigh finds a couple with footage of the female Heil-Ly member. He says to himself that the Heil-Ly members are keeping an eye on the hallway to the standard cabins since it's the access route. He adds that even though they know Morena's face and can tell the members apart by their aura, he should try to identify all 23 as soon as possible. Hinrigh tells the couple that he needs to confiscate their camcorder as evidence, handing them cash as insurance in case anything happens to it.

After parting ways with the soldier, Hinrigh uses his Biohazard ability on the camcorder and transforms it into a small cat, setting it to record mode as it climbs on top of a large fountain and looks toward the hallway. Hinrigh tells himself that it's unlikely all the Heil-Ly members would stay back in the standard cabins, worrying about what they plan to do now that their benefactor, the Fourth Prince, has cut ties with them. He then wonders if the second-track fakers have a rebellion planned, adding that it's the perfect chance for them to make their move after being oppressed for so many years and guessing that the recent killing spree is training for what's to come.

Chap 391 - Three Heil-Ly members

Three Heil-Ly members discussing how to confront Hinrigh

Three Heil-Ly members spot Hinrigh and recognize him as the underboss of the Xi-Yu Family. One says that he's underestimating them by being alone, adding that he doesn't stand a chance against all three of them. Another points out Hinrigh's En and says that he will notice if they get within five meters of him. The third member offers to attack Hinrigh first, telling the other two to look for an opening and finish him off. While the second calls it a basic strategy and wonders if they use their guns, the first remembers that killing a Nen user gives them ten levels and wonders how they will split it amongst the three of them. The third says that all ten should go to the one who deals the killing blow, but the second argues that they all should get something. The first wonders who gets to decide the details, and the second replies that it will obviously be Morena since it's her power and she’s the game master, most likely able to tell what they’re doing at all times.

As the third sprints after Hinrigh and says that he doesn't care as long as he gets to kill, the details for all three members are revealed. The first is an Enhancer and civil engineer named Tevelares (level 24). The second is an Emitter and repairman named Quorolle (level 22). The third is a Conjurer and demolition worker named Padaille (level 29). Padaille says to himself that if he could be reborn as a weapon, he would be able to feel the skin, blood, and flesh as he kills his prey. He then turns his right hand into a hammer as he activates his Fistful of Weapons ability. He says that Morena allowed his wish to come true and that he will do everything he can to kill for her sake and his own.

Chap 391 - Hinrigh using his ability

Hinrigh using his ability to restrain Padaille

Padaille waltzes behind Hinrigh and suddenly raises his weapon to strike him. However, a handcuff suddenly appears around his right wrist, with the other end of the chain connected to a pigeon. As Hinrigh mocks his ability, the pigeon flies toward Padaille's other wrist and turns back into the other handcuff, restraining the Heil-Ly member's hands behind his back. Hinrigh tells Tevelares and Quorolle to attack him and call for backup since he still has plenty of pigeons. The two members draw their handguns and fire toward the pigeons and Hinrigh, but their shots are ineffective. Hinrigh explains that while the pigeons are made from regular handcuffs, they are reinforced with aura, and standard bullets won't be enough.

Having turned his right hand into a drill to slip out of the handcuff, Padaille lunges toward Hinrigh with the weapon. Hinrigh quickly turns and stops the drill with his left hand, which pierces through it. He realizes that Padaille can use various weapons and quickly kicks him back. Another pigeon suddenly puts a handcuff around Padaille's left ankle and connects it to the free handcuff dangling from his left wrist, restraining him once again. Hinrigh asks what he plans to do now and tells him that his friends seem to be leaving him to his fate. Padaille angrily replies that a chain won't stop him and suddenly turns his hand into an axe to free himself.

Chap 391 - Hinrigh killing Padaille

Hinrigh killing Padaille with his own weapon

However, Hinrigh quickly stops him and says that he can now feel what it's like to kill and be killed, slowly pushing the axe into the back of his head as blood drips from his eyes. As Tevelares and Quorolle make their escape and a crowd begins to gather, Hinrigh wishes that he could have taken them somewhere else to be more discreet but says that he can't allow himself to get held up, adding that he's now counting on someone named Misha. Quorolle wonders what they should do given how troublesome the pigeons are, and Tevelares replies that he doesn't want to get tortured over the location of their hideout, suggesting that they ask Morena for instructions.
