Plea (
Synopsis[]
After assuring the three Troupe members that he doesn't want to fight them, Luini proposes working together so that they can eliminate the Cha-R Family, the Xi-Yu Family, and Kakin's royal family before taking control of the Black Whale and returning to the old world to destroy it. However, Nobunaga suddenly lunges forward with his katana and stabs Luini in the head, saying that he isn't making sense and criticizing his pointless antics at the warehouse. He removes his katana and says that he will destroy him if he wants to destroy the world, striking Luini with his katana once again.
Tsudonke and his men return to the office, with Nobunaga opening the door for them. Hiding his excitement at Nobuanga's gesture, Tsudonke asks what happened to the other Cha-R members. Nobunaga reveals that they were all killed, leading them to Luini's decapitated and bisected corpse. With Tsudonke unable to believe the carnage, Nobunaga explains that they found the hitman who killed the guards at the warehouse, holding up his head and adding that they have decided to destroy the Heil-Ly Family. Feitan thanks them for their hospitality and says that the other door can wait. Phinks adds that while they plan to continue their search for Hisoka, any information on the Heil-Ly and the location of their boss will let them take care of that problem first. Tsudonke continues to hold in his excitement and tells himself that he has to get enough autograph paper for each Troupe member, hoping that Ken'i will help him access the general store.
Elsewhere on the ship, several Heil-Ly members look at the bottom half of Luini's corpse up against a nearby wall. A construction worker named Daemon (level 20) points out how much Luini's loss will affect them since he allowed them to hunt for prey from the hideout. A professional gamer named Gelato (level 19) adds how dangerous it will be now since the military is on high alert. An investigator's assistant named Perigord (level 18) suggests that someone should recreate Luini's ability. An arcade employee named Bille (level 20) says that he has already decided on his ability. Perigord reminds them that Morena said everyone has an innate type, confident that Luini was an Emitter. Bille replies that an Emitter needs to do the job, but Gelato points out that they need to figure out how to raise their levels so they can reach level 21. An Emitter and human trafficker named Voconte (level 26) suggests using his "door" ability to catch prey that wander into the trap, adding that they have ways to reel them in.
Tevelares and Quorolle then enter the room, with the latter wondering if there are any Emitters since they need someone who can create projectiles. As Perigord comments on the popularity of Emitters, a college student named Matvere (level 18) happily says that he wants to be an Emitter and plans to make a firearm, with Gelato commenting that he doesn’t get to choose. Quorolle asks if he could handle handcuffs turned into pigeons, leaving Matvere confused. After Tevelares explains that the Xi-Yu underboss killed Padaille with his ability, and they need to destroy the pigeons at a distance, Matvere replies that he would need to try it to know for sure. Gelato, Tevelares, and Quorolle then enter a separate room and explain the situation to Morena, who emphasizes the need to analyze their opponents and use creativity. She explains that they don't need to rely on an Emitter if they can restrict the enemy or their ability. She then gives the example of an ability that tells one how many hits are needed to defeat an enemy, comparing it to a game. Quorolle realizes that she's the game master for a reason, and Gelato says that she will keep the idea in mind if she turns out to be a Conjurer. Morena asks if she wants to know her type, but Gelato replies that she wants it to be a surprise.
On Tier 3, Zakuro wakes up beside a pile of boxes and trash bags. Lynch asks if Hisoka knocked him unconscious as well, and Zakuro says that he's just happy to be alive, asking where he went. Lynch replies that he was gone when she woke up, adding that it was definitely Hisoka and asking what happened after she passed out. Zakuro explains that after Hisoka invited him to the movies and asked what he wanted to watch, he lost consciousness the moment he took his eyes off him. Lynch then suggests reporting the situation to Hinrigh since they are clearly outmatched. At the cinema complex, Hinrigh is accompanied by several Xi-Yu members and tells Zakuro that he should return since they don't want Hisoka to think he's there for revenge. He tells his men that they will clear one auditorium at a time, and Zakuro says that he will regroup with Lynch and look for the Troupe's leader. Hinrigh wonders if he can handle it, and Zakuro is confident that he will help them once they emphasize the need for balance and give him Hisoka's location in exchange for wiping out the Heil-Ly.
In auditorium #8, Hinrigh sits down next to Hisoka as the rest of the audience quietly walks past several Xi-Yu members. When Hisoka doesn't answer the question about his identity, Hinrigh moves on to a request and asks if he could spend his time in Tier 1 until the conflict with the Heil-Ly and Cha-R is resolved, offering him a room in the VVIP area. Hisoka wonders why, and Hinrigh explains that the Cha-R and Troupe have joined forces against the Heil-Ly and that their family is working with the Cha-R to destroy the Heil-Ly. He warns Hisoka that if he starts a fight with the Troupe, they will have no choice but to consider him an enemy. Hisoka replies that he doesn't mind since he likes chaos, but Hinrigh reveals that he would prefer not to fight them since he knows the Mafia would have no chance against him or the Troupe.
Hinrigh emphasizes the importance of balance and tells Hisoka to be patient while the Cha-R and Troupe destroy the Heil-Ly, assuring him that they won't come between him and the Troupe. Hisoka then asks who he thinks will win between himself and the Troupe, and Hinrigh apologizes before saying that he would support the Spiders. Hisoka asks for his favorite member, and Hinrigh replies that he likes all of them, asking Hisoka for his and causing him to laugh and mention that he likes honest people. Hisoka extends his hand to take the VVIP pass but quickly pulls it back. He explains that he won't refuse a fight with the Troupe if they attack him first, and Hinrigh agrees to the deal.
Elsewhere on Tier 3, as the soldier waiting for Hinrigh wonders what's taking him so long, he spots Ken'i and several Cha-R members approaching him. Ken'i notices several drops of blood on the floor and comments on the recent conflict. The soldier explains that Hinrigh clashed with a civilian and that they could have handed Hinrigh over to the police if the civilian had cooperated, but Ken'i highlights their connection and bribery. The soldier tells him to stop his accusations and leave, but Ken'i wonders why a corporal would be standing guard instead of a regular soldier and wonders what he's planning with Hinrigh. The corporal reveals that Hinrigh wanted information on the Heil-Ly's hideout and tells Ken'i that he can also make an offer for the intel. Ken'i quickly agrees to match Hinrigh's offer and tells a subordinate to bring him 50 million in cash.
The corporal is unsure whether Hinrigh will agree to it, but Ken'i assures him that they are working together to crush the Heil-Ly since a second-track faker has gone too far and they have received approval from the Fourth Prince. He tells the corporal to report every potential Heil-Ly member they spot and that they will give five million to the finder and his corporal, adding that they will set up a culprit for the murders, and he will provide the eyewitness testimony. The corporal agrees to the deal as long as they eliminate every Heil-Ly member since he doesn't want to worry about retaliation. Ken'i puts on a haunting smile and assures him that they will deal with every last one of them. The corporal recognizes his icy grin and nervously wonders if everyone he smiles at dies, but Ken'i calls it a rude rumor and points out that everyone dies eventually.
Connelly, a Xi-Yu lieutenant, approaches with a paper bag full of money and says that they can get started once their money and Hinrigh arrive. The corporal leads the Mafia members to Room 3101 in the first-class cabins, and Hinrigh asks if every room has the same layout. The corporal explains that the worker told him it was the only room without a bathroom wall, adding that the plumbing space is behind it, but the access panel is elsewhere. He then says that if there's a wall there now, it should confirm that there’s a hidden room. Ken'i points out that anything could be back there since it's at the edge of the ship. Hinrigh tells the corporal to make contact since they shouldn't attack a soldier, but still advises him to leave his safety off. The corporal knocks on the door and announces that the Kakin Army has received a tip and needs to search the room.
An old man slowly opens the door and assures them that he hasn't done anything wrong. Readying his weapon, the corporal tells the man to back away slowly and sit down on the bed with his hands raised. However, when the corporal enters the room, Hinrigh and Ken'i look inside to see that he has disappeared. Still sitting on the bed, the old man is surprised he wasn't alone and says that they don't look to be military, assuring them that he hasn't done anything wrong and politely asking them to come inside. The two underbosses remain outside the room, and Hinrigh asks where Corporal Maizan is. The old man replies that he may have gone to the bathroom and again asks them to come inside. However, Hinrigh suddenly throws a knife past the old man's head and notices that it didn't disappear. He tells the old man to come to them and that the next knife won't miss, with the old man quickly complying and again saying that he hasn't done anything wrong.
