The cover page shows Shizuku's Nen ability Blinky and an explanation about it. We learn that she is a Conjurer and can conjure Blinky—as a weapon. It can inhale whatever she wishes, but refuses to inhale what she considers a living being. It is able to release the last thing sucked up. It's unknown where the things Blinky sucks up go, even to Shizuku.
Squala and Dalzollene try to convince Kurapika not to attack the Phantom Troupe. Melody, knowing Kurapika was ready to kill, plays "A Field in Spring". After everyone's nerves calmed down and they regained their composure, Kurapika states he has a good plan to stop them and he can do it alone.
Uvogin asks Shizuku to get the poison out of his body while Shalnark tells someone to get a lot of beer. Suddenly surrounded by chains, Uvogin is pulled away by Kurapika. The rest of the Phantom Troupe decide they'll have to rescue him. Machi informs the group that she's attached a Nen thread with Zetsu activated so they will be able to track Uvogin and his kidnappers.
In the car being driven by Kurapika, Uvogin says they'll never have a chance like this again to kill him, only to be told to shut up. When trying to speak again, Kurapika tightens and increases the chains' size, warning him to be silent. Confused, Uvogin isn't sure why he can't break the chains as the poison shouldn't be affecting him this bad. Kurapika thinks to himself how Chain Jail was created solely for capturing the Phantom Troupe and taking away their liberty. If this technique is used on anyone else besides a member of the Phantom Troupe, Kurapika will be instantly killed as this is the condition he set on the ability.
A car begins following them from behind and so, Kurapika uses Gyo and realizes there's a Nen wire connected to the prisoner. Squala disconnects it only for Shalnark to say "no matter, they've already been caught". Only for a member of the Shadow Beasts known as Owl to use his Fun Fun Cloth Nen ability to try and capture them. But he fails as everyone but Nobunaga (who was stuck in the middle) were able to escape, which he compliments them on. The rest of the Shadow Beasts arrive, confusing Feitan as to why they aren't in the car. Deciding just to ask them himself, Feitan prepares for battle.
