Compromise (妥協, rom. Konpuromaizu) is a spell card found in the Greed Island game. It allows a player to destroy one target player's A-Rank or above card, who can replace it with one 3 ranks lower of their choice.

Summary[]
This spell allows for the caster to destroy a single A-Rank or above card from the target player. As a result, that player gets the right to pick any card of their choice to replace it with, provided that it is 3 ranks lower than the one destroyed. The spell fails if the target player has no A-Rank cards in their binder, in which case it will return to the caster in card form. Generally speaking, this card is useful for blackmail, and makes it harder for any unprotected player to obtain and sustain high rank cards. The silver lining is that the target player can choose a lower rank card that they need; however, if that card's conversion limit has already been reached, the target will be left with no card at all.

- "Compromise" is the only spell not to be destroyed if it fails.
- This card was mentioned in Chapter 132 when Puhat is asked to list all the spell cards that it can destroy and that can be generated in return.
- "Compromise" is also mentioned in Chapter 150 when Killua lists possible ways to obtain "Paladin's Necklace".
