Dani ( ダニ, Dani) is one of the Heavens Arena Floor Masters. He only appears in Hunter × Hunter: The Last Mission.[1]
Appearance[]
Dani has a large head in proportion to his body, very wide shoulders, a tiny waist, and long, thin arms and legs. His hair consists of short, separated, spiny hairs like a tick's.[1]
His outfit consists of a grey, off-the-shoulder fitted jumpsuit that wraps around the arches of his feet and a red sash tied around his waist. Similar to Yamanezumi, Dani is never seen wearing shoes.[1]
Plot[]
The Last Mission[]
Dani is first seen in Hunter × Hunter: The Last Mission entering the arena at Heavens Arena with the other Floor Masters at the start of the Battle Olympia.[1]
Later, Dani is in a training room with the other Floor Masters, who are warming up for their upcoming battles. He is in the middle of the boxing ring in the room holding a bridge pose. Jed enters the room and knocks out all of the Floor Masters, injecting them with his blood to put them under the control of On, and Dani is seen flung over the ropes of the boxing ring, unconscious.[1]
When Gon and Killua eventually get trapped in a room with Dani and eight of the other Floor Masters, Dani lunges at Gon, swiping at him with his bare hands, but never manages to land a hit. The Floor Masters are left behind in the room in a zombie-like state after Gon and Killua manage to escape.[1]
Abilities & Powers[]
Not much is known about Dani's abilities, even less so than some of the other Floor Masters; he is not shown to have a page in Killua's magazine detailing some of the Floor Masters' abilities. However, because he is a Floor Master, it can be assumed that Dani is strong and proficient in Nen.[1]
While training in a training room before the start of the Battle Olympia matches, Dani is seen holding a yoga pose, showing that he has some level of flexibility. In his fight against Gon, he swipes at Gon with his bare hands, which have sharp nails on them, which may mean he favors hand-to-hand combat.[1]
Trivia[]
- Dani means "tick" in Japanese.
