The Divine Script (神字, Shinji) has the uncanny power to strengthen the Nen of the one who drew it, provided the script is charged with his or her aura. Hours of intense concentration are necessary to apply it.[1] By using it, the Pirate boxer managed to create a Nen ability that would normally be impossible to achieve with his level of skill,[2] and which he could utilize as long as he remained in the area where the script was drawn.[1]
Trivia
It is currently unknown if the Divine Script is related to the mysterious Inscription.
In the 1999 anime adaptation, the runes on Dalzollene's sword had the same effect as the Divine Script.[3]
