Synopsis[]

In preparation for their upcoming fights, Wing gets the boys to test their Hatsu on a glass of water. When Gon does it, the water in the glass overflows and pours down the sides of the table. When Killua does it, he turns the water so sweet that it tastes close to honey. Wing confirms that both of them are ready for their fights. Wing asks Gon about his strategy for his rematch with Gido, and Gon says that he plans to use his fishing rod this time.

Gon enters the arena with his fishing rod and faces off against Gido. As soon as the match starts, Gido spins incredibly quickly and unleashes his tops simultaneously. Gon uses his Nen to deflect all the tops off of him, and they clatter to the ground. Gon then uses his fishing rod to hook the giant stone slab under Gido and lift it, sending both Gido and the stone slab flying through the air. Gido falls to the ground, and Gon stands over him. Even though Gido begs Gon not to, Gon punches him in the stomach hard enough that Gon's own hand bleeds. Gon then warns Gido never to hurt or threaten his friends again and walks off. The referee declares Gon the winner.

Killua vs Riehlvelt

Soon after, Killua and Riehlvelt's match begins, and Killua says he won't hold back against Riehlvelt since he broke their deal. Killua jumps into the air when the fight begins, but Riehlvelt rides away on his scooter. Riehlvelt then takes out his two whips and moves them at an incredible speed all around him. When Riehlvelt goes to attack them, Killua catches them in his bare hands, only for Riehlvelt to turn on their electricity and continuously zap Killua. Riehlvelt rambles about how strong his whips are, saying he cranked them up to one million volts, but Killua still yanks him out of his scooter by the whips and sends him flying through the air.

Killua ready to catch Riehlvelt

While Riehlvelt is falling down, Killua asks him what he wants Killua to do since Riehlvelt will surely die if he hits the ground from that height. Riehlvelt begs Killua to catch him, and Killua complies, catching Riehlvelt while still holding the whips, shocking Riehlvelt until he goes unconscious. Killua gets declared the winner. Gon and Killua meet up after their matches to get some food. An announcement declares that Gido's match against Killua has been canceled, likely because Gido can barely stand, and Killua wins by default.

Gon enters the arena with Riehlvelt without his fishing rod. Riehlvelt starts the match by rapidly twirling his whips around, and Gon retaliates by lifting a stone slab from the floor up with his bare hands and throws it at Riehlvelt. Riehlvelt speeds away on his scooter to get away from the slab, moving towards Gon, and Gon grabs onto the whips and wraps them around Riehlvelt's neck. Gon pretends to turn the power up to one million volts and turn the whips on, and Riehlvelt faints from fear, anticipating being zapped. Gon gets declared the winner once more.
