Overview[]

After the quiz, Eta announces Gon as the victor. He receives an invitation to a castle, entering alone while Killua and Biscuit wait outside. Inside the castle, Gon meets List and Dwun, from whom he obtains the Ruler's Blessings and a small binder that allows him to bring three cards from the game into the real world. During this meeting, he also learns about the history of Greed Island and gains some information about Ging. Following their time at the castle, Gon, Killua, and Biscuit attend a parade to celebrate their game completion. The trio bids farewell to one another after selecting the three cards they wish to keep. Gon and Killua then use Accompany to reach their next destination, where they encounter a mysterious stranger clad in a cloak, fishing beneath a tree.

Synopsis[]

The quiz begins as Eta presents a series of questions to all participants, each followed by multiple-choice options. While Gon answers the questions calmly and confidently, Killua struggles. Biscuit, though not actively participating, quietly observes the two boys.

Once the quiz concludes, the players take a moment to rest and reflect. Some discuss the difficulty of the questions, while others appear more confident. Gon seems content with his performance, but Killua is visibly frustrated.

Finally, Eta announces the results. With a total score of 87 out of 100, tension among the participants rises as they await the winner's name. Eta then declares Gon the victor. Overjoyed, Gon and Killua celebrate as those around them gather to commend their efforts and offer heartfelt congratulations, which Gon graciously acknowledges with thanks. Gon then reminds Killua of their bet, which Killua acknowledges while wondering what score he received.

Shortly after, an Owl flies toward them, delivering a letter that turns out to be another card for Gon. The card contains an invitation to a castle, accessible only to someone who possesses both a badge and a map. Gon informs Killua and Biscuit that only he can enter, to which they cheerfully reply they will wait for him outside the castle.

Biscuit playfully teases Gon, asking which three items he plans to bring with him. Just as Gon is about to answer, a group approaches—a pair who seemingly hired someone to spy on the trio. Abengane, recognizing them, identifies the two as the infamous Gashta and Zetsk Bellam. They challenge the group to a fight, aiming to steal all of their cards.

Unfazed, Killua and Gon quickly knock the two out with ease. Since they cannot use Accompany without knowing the exact location of the castle, they decide Killua will use Drift to travel to Limeiro. Once he finds the castle, he returns and brings Gon and Biscuit along using Accompany. Shortly after reaching Limeiro, Killua returns to the group to take Gon and Biscuit to the castle. The trio bids farewell to Goreinu.

As he watches them use Accompany, Abengane praises the trio, especially Gon and Killua, noting their growth since their last encounter. He then sets out and uses Accompany on a player named "Chrollo," leading him to Hisoka.

The trio arrives at the castle, and Gon proceeds inside while Killua and Biscuit wait outside. Upon entering, List greets Gon, who welcomes him to the castle. Gon hands him the badge, and List guides him to their destination.

They enter a room cluttered with books and trash, where a foul stench hangs in the air. Amid the mess, a man named Dwun sits smoking and playing a game. Surrounded by piles of garbage, he invites them to come in. List introduces Gon to Dwun as the quiz's top scorer.

Dwun immediately recognizes Gon as Ging's son and asks him to sit down and clear some space. He then hands Gon the Ruler's Blessing, which Gon takes and reads its description. Dwun then teases Gon about how the game doesn't provide any information regarding Ging's location, asking if he expects Ging to be the island's ruler. Gon refutes this, stating he doesn't even think Ging is on the island. Dwun confirms this, and List asks Dwun to continue with the main issue.

Dwun follows List's advice and informs Gon that one more event is bound to occur after collecting all the cards. He hands Gon a binder resembling a small treasure box with three empty card slots inside. Dwun elaborates he can use this binder to bring three cards out of the hundred into the real world.

He then asks Gon which ending he wants to choose from: a regular or tailored ending. Gon chooses the regular one, prompting Dwun to ask why. Gon replies he didn't complete the game alone. List steps in again, telling Dwun to stop teasing Gon. He informs Gon there's no tailored ending but offers to give him information about it and Greed Island.

List formally introduces himself and Dwun to Gon, explaining Greed Island has eleven creators. He reveals that, aside from Ging, both he and Dwun are among those eleven creators, along with Razor, Elena, and Eta. Greed Island is named after the first letters of the creators' names.

After List finishes explaining the history of Greed Island, he tells Gon there will be a parade to celebrate clearing the game, where Gon can choose three cards to take with him. But before that, Dwun asks Gon if he wants to learn more about Ging, to which Gon happily agrees. Dwun then begins humorously bad-mouthing Ging, telling him Ging decided to change his name to Dwun, although his real name is Wdwun. He recounts their argument, noting Ging insists he should just take the "W" and stick with Dwun. Despite this, Dwun informs Gon he has been blessed with luck since changing his name. Dwun continues to chat with Gon, who seems to enjoy his time with them. As time passes, Gon meets Biscuit and Killua outside and shows them the binder.

The celebration begins with fireworks and confetti on display. Gon, Killua, and Biscuit are the main attractions of the parade, greeting all the attendees who watch them. People spend their lives dancing, drinking, and singing as the festivities continue.

Then, Gon, Killua, and Biscuit sit down as Gon discusses the binder, allowing them to bring three cards into the real world. Biscuit asks Gon about his time inside the palace, to which Gon replies, adding they don't have any information about Ging's whereabouts, something he and Killua have known since the beginning of the game.

Biscuit then asks Gon which cards he will bring with him, and Killua suggests they should each pick one. Biscuit chooses Blue Planet and excitedly explains why she wants it. She then turns to Killua, inquiring about his card choice, but he remains undecided, so the question shifts to Gon.

Gon points to a card in the binder, leaving them in awe. Biscuit informs him there are much better cards than the one he picked. After a short while, Killua seems to understand why Gon chose that particular card. As the two continue to discuss it, Gon points out he needs another card for it to work. Biscuit wants to know what the two are thinking, but they seem too focused on their own discussion, leaving her humorously frustrated as she tries to understand what they are discussing.

Elena congratulates Gon on clearing the game and continues asking about the cards he wants to take with him. Gon takes three cards from his binder, selecting Plot of Beach, Blue Planet, and Paladin's Necklace. After confirming, Elena gives the ring back to Gon. Gon thanks Elena, which she happily accepts, then bids Gon farewell.

Gon joins Killua and Biscuit in the outside world. Biscuit excitedly takes a card from Gon's binder and transforms Blue Planet into a real one, marveling at its beauty. She then asks the two if they are truly happy with their card choices, to which Killua nods in agreement, explaining they went with Gon's initial selection. Gon then uses Paladin's Necklace and wears the item, causing Plot of Beach to transform into Accompany. Biscuit states they shouldn't have gone through so much trouble just to take a simple traversal card. Gon reveals they couldn't take Accompany because it's not a designated card, so they Transform the card back to Plot of Beach, and the Paladin's Necklace transforms back into Accompany. Still, Biscuit is in disbelief they chose the card. Gon elaborates on his choice, recalling that when he first entered Greed Island, Goreinu, who was supposed to be the first person he met, reveals that a man named NIGG is listed first in his binder. He concludes the word's spelling is scrambled, and when arranged correctly, it spells GING. He assumes Ging took Gon when he was still an infant on Greed Island.

After hearing this, Biscuit tells Gon his tenacity is impressive; he overlooked more valuable cards. She encourages him, saying Ging wants Gon to complete the game by getting stronger, to which Gon nods. Biscuit then asks what he will do once he meets Ging. Gon replies that he will first introduce Killua as his best friend, which will cause Killua to feel embarrassed. This revelation brings Biscuit to tears, as she admits she had planned to destroy their friendship when she first encountered them, leaving the two boys surprised.

Gon then asks Biscuit to join them, but she declines for her own reasons. Gon and Killua bid their goodbyes to Biscuit as she tells them she loves them, to which the two respond with heartfelt thanks. They then use Accompany to head over to the guy named "NIGG."

As the two make their way to their destination, Kurapika stands atop the Nostrade's Mansion, intently gazing into the distance before he retreats indoors.

Meanwhile, Leorio diligently studies to further his medical aspirations. Back at Whale Island, Mito hangs the laundry and gazes thoughtfully at the sky. Finally, Gon and Killua arrive at their destination, where they encounter a mysterious stranger clad in a cloak, sitting in a tree and fishing. The stranger turns to look at them.
