Synopsis[]

Chap 93 - Nobunaga warning Killua not to move any closer

Nobunaga warning Killua not to move any closer

After Killua stands up with a serious look on his face, Nobunaga chuckles and coyly says that he's scared, readying his katana as his aura swells around him. He warns Killua that if he moves any closer, he will cut him down. Killua remains still as the sweat runs down his face, and a worried Gon gets his attention. Elsewhere, looking for the employees of the Nostrade Family in the city, Shizuku asks Franklin if he thinks Gon is very similar to Uvogin. Franklin replies that he is because it's very clear how he feels about something and he can easily lose his temper. He adds that Gon shows incredible strength when it's for someone else, saying that while Uvogin preferred to fight alone, he was at his strongest when he and Nobunaga were fighting together.

Shizuku seems surprised by this, and Franklin says that Uvogin never admitted that he fought better when he was taking care of someone else. Shizuku compares the mentality to that of a loser, and Franklin says it's one way of putting it, realizing how direct she can be. Finally, while he says that Nobunaga was better at fighting one-on-one and would complain when he had to team up with Uvogin, he adds that he didn't seem to mind that much in the end.

Chap 93 - Killua venting his frustrations

Killua venting his frustrations

Still sporting the wounds on his ankles, Killua begins to sweat even more and finally grits his teeth in frustration, turning around and angrily punching the wall. He quickly sits down and says that they need to think of another way to fight him besides head-on. Gon says to himself that Nobunaga is guarding the only exit and that the room has no windows, wondering how they can get him away from the door.

As time passes and it becomes night, Nobunaga lights some candles around himself, and Gon wonders how Leorio is doing, hoping that he was able to meet up with Zepile. He asks Killua if he's okay, and though he replies that he is, he keeps looking down at the floor and tenses up his muscles in frustration. Gon begins to think about the doctoring terms that Zepile taught them, remembering autopsy and cauterization and asking Killua what the last one was. Killua replies that he forgets, and as Gon tries to remember, Killua tells Gon that he will keep Nobunaga busy while he escapes.

Chap 93 - Killua offering to distract Nobunaga while Gon escapes

Killua offering to distract Nobunaga while Gon escapes

Gon is against the plan, and Nobunaga speaks up as well, telling Killua that he knows he won’t be able to catch him off guard. Killua analyzes the situation with himself and says that Nobunaga has a view of the entire room, able to hear everything they say and see everything they do. He guesses that he is a master of iaido and that his sword reach is twice as long as his own. As he considers taking the risk, he suddenly hears his older brother's voice again telling him that it's impossible. Killua suddenly stands up and tells him to shut up, saying that he won't know until he tries. Gon stands up as well and asks him what he plans to do.

After Killua tells him that he will try to block Nobunaga's first strike so that he can escape, Gon suddenly punches him in the back of the head, leaving Killua stunned before he grabs him by the shirt and asks him why he hit him. Gon angrily tells him to stop thinking only about himself and trivializing death. Killua reminds him that he said the same thing earlier, and Gon declares that while he can say it, Killua can't. Killua is left confused and frustrated, causing Nobunaga to chuckle and say that reason doesn't work on Enhancers. Killua angrily orders Gon to stop telling him what to do in a life or death situation, saying that he doesn't even know how he feels. Gon replies that he must be too stupid to know, causing Nobunaga to bust out laughing before he becomes serious and tells them that he won't try anything as long as they don't. He assures them that they only have to stay until Chrollo returns and that they can go if he isn't interested in them, again warning them not to make him draw his sword.

Chap 93 - Gon and Killua using what they learned from Zepile to escape

Gon and Killua using what they learned from Zepile to escape

After Nobunaga threatens to split them in two if they try anything, the idea causes Gon to remember that the last term was called ostomy, reminding Killua that he was the one who figured it out. Killua suddenly understands Gon's plan, and the two begin smiling as they wonder how they didn't think of it sooner. With Nobunaga left confused, Gon and Killua suddenly glare at him and ready their Nen in preparation for something. Nobunaga puts his hand on his sword and says that he won't be able to avoid killing them if they get too close. Gon and Killua quickly dash toward him, but then suddenly dart toward the side walls, each of them kicking a hole through to escape. Nobunaga is left stunned, and the two boys remember that if the exit is blocked, you make a new opening.
