September 4th: Part 6 (9
Synopsis[]
Killua says that it's time for them to stop, but Gon asks why since he was so eager before. Killua explains that it would be pointless to risk their lives since there's no longer any reward money for capturing the Phantom Troupe. Even though he acknowledges his point, Gon replies that it's not pointless to capture them, but Killua reminds him that his goal is to acquire a copy of Greed Island, pointing out that they should be raising money for the auction that starts the day after tomorrow.

Gon reveals that he has an idea about the game, but when Killua asks him about it, he refuses to say just yet, causing Killua to put him in a playful chokehold. Gon says that he will handle the game while they chase after the Troupe for a little longer. Killua asks for the probability of his plan succeeding, and Gon initially says 70% before changing it to 60%. Killua guesses that it's actually closer to a 50/50 split, but says that it probably has a better chance than trying to make 
6 billion in two days. Killua agrees to let Gon handle the game, but tells him that they need Kurapika's help in capturing the Troupe.
Kurapika tells Leorio that he asked about the auction, but that the Mafia hasn't made any decisions yet. Leorio says that they might reconsider if he tells them that the Spiders are still alive, but Kurapika is confident that the Mafia doesn't want to have any disagreements with Meteor City, guessing that the organization's war against the Troupe is finished. He wonders if the auction will still be held, and Leorio realizes that Kurapika plans to fight the Troupe, wondering how he will do it without the Mafia's help.

As Kurapika corrects Leorio by saying that he isn't counting on their help, Gon and Killua meet up with the two of them, with Gon assuring Kurapika that they will do anything to help him and Killua silently hoping that he will refuse the offer. Although Kurapika reminds him that the reward was canceled, Gon says that he hasn't changed his mind about wanting to stop the Troupe. Kurapika thinks about it and says that he would be risking his life, with Killua saying to himself that it will only make Gon want to do it more.
Gon remains resolute, and Kurapika says that they should all sit down and discuss it. He first says that one of them needs to watch the Troupe's hideout and relay information, with Killua quickly volunteering for the job. Kurapika tells him that they only need to focus on Pakunoda and that he can ignore the others. He tells him to be careful, and Killua assures him that he won't take any unnecessary risks. Kurapika asks Leorio to be his driver, and Leorio reluctantly agrees, assuring them that he's not scared after Killua points out that he will be safe with Kurapika.
Kurapika tells Gon that his job is to create a diversion, but Killua worries about the risk and says that he would have to confront them again. Kurapika explains that he will capture Pakunoda and move her by car while Gon diverts the Troupe's attention, asking that he try to keep them busy for one second. Gon remembers how quickly Machi was able to restrain him and asks himself if he can do it. Kurapika tells him that he is vital to their plan, and Gon says that he will think about it. Kurapika says that the Troupe will take action in the next six hours if the auction is still held, considering the possibility that they are already on the move.

Killua says to himself that he should try to buy some time and asks Kurapika aloud why he decided to let them help. Kurapika replies that the situation is more dangerous and that he needs to deal with Pakunoda regardless of the risk. Leorio says to himself that Kurapika didn't need to tell them about his abilities, realizing that he's seeing how ruthless he can be and adding that they need to be careful. With a serious expression on his face, Gon suddenly asks Kurapika if he can use his Nen dagger on him as well.
