Plot[]

Altar of Dragon Vein[]

Note: Events occurring in Altar of Dragon Vein do not constitute canon material. Furthermore, some events may slightly differ depending on the current player character.

After Ogyu manages to collect four out of five cards, Zegin Highline and his group steals them from him. He soon comes across Gon and Killua. Mistaking them for Zegin's henchmen, he attacks them. After the battle, the boys explain themselves and bring Ogyu to the airship. There, Ogyu explains how the Goddess Advent Cards function and his intent on preventing them from falling into the wrong hands. He then joins the group and seeks out said cards.[1]

When they manage to collect all of the cards, they realize that one of them was the one Ogyu did not manage to collect. They seek out the final card in Zegin's Mansion. This leads to a confrontation with the once-thought deceased Amane, who fulfills his goal of using Zegin's unconscious body for his own use. Amane and the manipulated corpse of Zegin fight the Hunter group and die in the aftermath.[1]

After obtaining all five Goddess Advent Cards, Ogyu summons the Goddess from the cards. He then wishes to travel the world and find the cards again, resulting in them scattering. When questioned, he explains that he prefers to find the cards alone. With that done, Ogyu goes off on another adventure but not before giving a ride to Romaria to the Midonite Government Environment Protection Bureau.[1]

Trivia[]

Intertextuality and References[]

  • The cards function similarly to the seven Dragon Balls from the manga series Dragon Ball. Both are a number of items that grant any wish to the person who gathered them.
