Hotel Beitacle (ベーチタクルホテル, Bēchitakuru Hoteru) is a high-class hotel located in Yorknew City.

Overview

Neon Nostrade and her bodyguards stayed in the Hotel Beitacle while in the city for the Underground Auction.

Plot

The hotel is indirectly mentioned by Dalzollene (the head bodyguard of the Nostrade Family) when he informs the new recruits of the location where they will take Neon during their stay in the city. At the hotel, Dalzollene contacts Neon's father to notify him of the recent predictions her daughter foretold. In light of this ominous news, Neon is forbidden from attending the the auction for her safety. Dalzollene then briefs the bodyguards on their tasks during the auction. Later, Neon throws a massive tantrum about not being able to attend the event, which leaves Dalzollene wondering what he should do as he informs Light. Light finally cancels his plans and says that he will arrive at the hotel soon.

Notified of the incident at the auction, Dalzollene tells Squala to leave behind five of his dogs to protect Neon and her attendants, with Squala telling them keep a close eye on Neon and to not let anyone else inside the room. After Uvogin's escape and Dalzollene's death, the remaining Nostrade bodyguards discuss how to proceed. Kurapika is ultimately chosen as the new head bodyguard and notifies Light of the recent events. Uvogin confronts Kurapika at the hotel, and the two settle on a location for where to fight it out.

On the afternoon of September 3^rd, Light arrives and is brought up to date on the recent events involving the auction. Once Neon returns to her room, Light reveals to the bodyguards that the auction has been rescheduled for later that night. He adds that the Ten Dons have hired professionals to eliminate the Phantom Troupe.

Kortopi tracks the copied Scarlet Eyes since they act like his En, and the Troupe realizes that the eyes are at the hotel. Kurapika and Melody realize that the Troupe members are heading towards the hotel, and the former contacts Squala to warn him. Squala leaves the hotel to avoid a confrontation with the Troupe, but they eventually track him down. After Squala is killed, Pakunoda informs Chrollo that they learned the chain user's name and now know what he looks like. Chrollo then tells her that they will be waiting in the lobby of the hotel with Gon and Killua as their hostages.

Chrollo's group arrives first at the hotel lobby and is later joined by Pakunoda's group. In an incident involving their two hostages, Chrollo is kidnapped by Kurapika during a planned blackout. Nobunaga contacts Phinks and the others and tells them to hurry since Chrollo has been taken. By the time the group arrives and is brought up to date on the situation, Kurapika contacts the Troupe members and imposes a series of demands for them to follow and warns that their leader will die if they don't comply. Though displeased with the demands and circumstances, they capitulate to them.
