Isaac (イサク, Isaku) was a Greed Island player,[1] hired by Battera, and a founding member of an alliance formed to clear the game.[2]
Appearance[]
Isaac had hair neatly combed and parted to the right, a thin mustache and eyebrows, and a Grecian nose. He wore a sleeveless tunic with linear markings around the collar and one around the lower waist area, a long-sleeved shirt, pants, and shoes.[2]
Personality[]
Like his fellow alliance members, he had an informative personality with extensive knowledge on the game.[2]
Plot[]
Greed Island arc[]
Alongside Genthru, Nomdieu, Assam, and Nickes, Isaac tries to recruit new players Abengane, Puhat, Biscuit, Gon, and Killua to their alliance.[1] During their pitch, Isaac tells them that they are the last group of potential recruits and assures them that they can collect all the cards in a month once things start moving. He also lets them know that they have a secure place to store the cards they collect. The group manages to convince Puhat and Abengane to join, but fail to convince Gon, Killua, and Biscuit to join for their own respective reasons.[2]
Although supposed founding members of the alliance, he and Nomdieu were left out of a conversation between Genthru, Assam, and Nickes.[2] It's uncertain whether Isaac was at the alliance base when Genthru revealed himself as the Bomber.[3] Along with the rest of the alliance (aside from Abengane and Cuzco), he dies after the bombs set by Genthru are detonated simultaneously.[4]
Later, Isaac's name is mentioned in Gon's binder when the latter looks to see which players are dead or alive.[5]
Abilities & Powers[]
Since most of the alliance members joined because they lacked combat abilities, it can be assumed that Isaac also had none.[6]
Nen[]
Due to being able to access Greed Island, Isaac was capable of utilizing Nen.[7]
