Jispa (ジスパー, Jisupā) was a Greed Island player, hired by Battera, and a founding member of an alliance formed to clear the game.[1] He was responsible for taking new members of the alliance to Kosofftro with a "Magnetic Force" card.[2]
Appearance[]
Jispa was an average-sized man and had spiky light blond hair with the sides cut short, long thin eyebrows, and a redefined jaw. He wore a black tank top and gray pants.[1]
Personality[]
Jispa was an industrious member of the alliance and was known for his expert knowledge on the game's card system.[2] He was also brave enough to try to incapacitate Genthru after he revealed himself as the Bomber.[3]
Plot[]
Greed Island arc[]
Soon after Puhat and Abengane join Nickes' Alliance, Jispa arrives and explains the functions of the "Leave" and "Magnetic Force" cards. He then uses the "Leave" card on the two. Jispa informs Nickes that Contarch has managed to recruit eight more members, bringing the total member count to 63. He also comments about the payout, saying that some won't be happy that the new members are reducing their share.[1]
At the Shiso Tree, Jispa meets up with the new recruits and uses an "Accompany" card to travel with them to Kosofftro. After Kosofftro introduces himself, Jispa leads the group to the base while explaining how the new recruits will contribute to the alliance and their plan to retrieve the SS-rank card, "Angel's Breath", and a spare of the "Fortress" card.[2]
Right after Genthru reveals himself as the Bomber in the alliance base, Jispa attempts to attack Genthru from behind, but Genthru is too fast and uses his Little Flower Nen ability to severely wound Jispa's face.[3] When the bombs appear on the alliance members, the timer on Jispa's bomb goes down quite fast, already at 3500. To save Jispa's life, Nickes begs the alliance members to hand over their cards to Genthru. Later, Puhat confronts Genthru on his own in Battera's mansion and explains that Nickes wants to use the "Angel's Breath" card on Jispa. However, Genthru sees through Puhat's attempt at negotiating and ruthlessly kills him.[4] Sometime after Puhat's death, Nickes confronts Genthru and informs him that Jispa has died, with Genthru showing no concern or remorse.[5]
Abilities & Powers[]
Although most of the alliance members joined because they lacked combat abilities, Jispa was confident enough to try to incapacitate Genthru after he revealed himself as the Bomber.[4]
Nen[]
Due to being able to access Greed Island, Jispa was capable of utilizing Nen.[6]
