Katrono Hui Guo Rou (カットローン=ホイコーロ, Kattorōn Hoikōro) is the Fourth Queen of the Kakin Empire and fourth wife of Nasubi Hui Guo Rou. She gave him one daughter, Tyson Hui Guo Rou.[1]
Appearance[]
Not much is known about Katrono's appearance; she is first seen as a silhouette in the introduction of King Nasubi's eight legal wives, the second shortest among them even though they are all fairly close in height.[1]
Katrono is seen to have a fairly round face, with small features all around. She has double eyelids on top of her small, beady eyes, and round, oval-shaped eyebrows, which Tyson inherited from her. She has a small nose and a small mouth. Katrono has dark, shoulder-length hair.[2]
Plot[]
Succession Contest arc[]
Katrono is first seen as one of the eight silhouettes depicting King Nasubi's eight legal wives. Her name is revealed when her daughter, 6th Prince Tyson Hui Guo Rou is first introduced.[1]
Katrono's face is first seen in an overview of the princes and their mothers in Chapter 374. She has six guards, assigned to monitor the younger princes, specifically the 8th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th princes. The unnamed guard assigned to watch over 14th Prince Woble was killed on Day 1 of the Black Whale 1's voyage by the Silent Majority User.[2]
On the 10th day of the voyage, Izunavi watches Tyson and her other guards, particularly Giuliano, who he notes has recently been uncharacteristically quiet while reading the Book of Tyson. Izunavi wonders if it's possible to have King Nasubi read the Book of Tyson and use Tyson's Guardian Spirit Beast's ability to get him to cancel the succession war. He learns that she has distributed her book to the lower princes and their queens. Izunavi asks Tyson if she has given a copy to the King. Tyson says that she asked her mother, Katrono, to do so as part of her condition to take part in the succession contest since she needs Katrono's permission to see the king. Tyson shares with Izunavi that her mother was disappointed at how she turned out and does not expect any grandchildren from her. Tyson mentions that Katrono used to say that she hated the pitying glances from the other queens, and really wanted to be able to retaliate, but Tyson is only willing to fight with the power of love. Izunavi asks Tyson to convince her mother to let her speak with the king and ask him to read the Book of Tyson, believing that it has the key to changing the ship's fate. Tyson is pleased to hear that and agrees to speak with Katrono.[3]

This particular issue arose when their mother Queen Sevanti sent all of Momoze's Hunters and servants to Marayam. Since we only got to see 4/5 of Momoze's Hunters and 2/3 of her servants by that time, we can't say for certain which prince the marked characters initially belonged to. |
