Kazsule's Alliance was originally composed of 15 Greed Island players and formed to stop the Bombers from completing the game.[1]

Background[]

Kazsule formed the alliance by getting in contact with several Greed Island players whom he had met before and who had collected at least 50 specified slot cards, so they could exchange information and stop the Bombers from completing the game.[1]

Plot[]

Greed Island arc[]

Kazsule contacts several Greed Island players that meet certain conditions and informs them all that the Bombers are close to beating the game. A group consisting of fifteen Greed Island players, including Gon, Killua, and Biscuit, gathers together at an undisclosed location in the badlands. The groups were brought together in order to formulate a plan to stop the Bombers from completing the game, since said trio had acquired 96 of the required 100 specified slot cards at that point. From the start, Kazsule mentions ways of figuring out what exact cards the Bombers may have, while Nick Cue and Asta explain various tricks of figuring out what cards the Bombers may have. However, when the topic of forging an alliance with everyone is brought up, Asta is for it as long as Gon, Killua, and Biscuit aren't allowed to join, claiming that they can't offer anything to help the group. This causes Killua and Asta to get into a heated argument with each other, but it's settled after they reveal Genthru's abilities to the group, in exchange for two S-rank cards. Asta then reveals how to reuse spell cards infinitely, how to easily get B-rank cards from trade shops, and how to get two S-rank cards with "X-Ray Goggles". Yabibi also reveals a way to get S-rank cards. After all of that is settled, Hanse uses a "List" card to find out if there are any "Tree of Plenty" cards left, but it turns out that there aren't. Montreux uses a "List" card to find the "Plot of Beach" card, and it turns out that no one has acquired it yet. Amana uses a "Guidepost" card to find its location, which is in Soufrabi. Wong Li then uses an "Accompany" card to transport the alliance members to Soufrabi.[1]

After arriving in Soufrabi, Kazsule explains how getting an SS-rank card works, and the alliance members split into groups and ask the various NPCs about the "Plot of Beach" card. Kazsule manages to find a female NPC who has information on the card and reveals that it's in the hands of the pirates that control the town, Razor and his 14 devils. The female NPC promises to tell them where the "Plot of Beach" card is if they manage to drive the pirates out of the town. Amana surmises that 15 players entering the town via an "Accompany" card is the prerequisite to initiating the event to acquire the card. Kazsule then asks about the location of the pirates, so the woman directs the alliance members to a bar in town. The group travels there, and after Kazsule asks the pirates if they can leave town, the pirate Bopobo explains that only Razor can tell them what to do. He then creates a ring of fire and challenges the alliance to a sumo match, promising to take them to Razor if they win.[2]

The alliance facing Razor and his pirates

Zeho volunteers, confident in his abilities as an Enhancer, and activates his Ren, but Killua is quick to see how weak his Ren is. Killua's assessment is accurate, and when Zeho fails to move Bopobo back even one step, Gon helps free Zeho from Bopobo's grasp. Killua then has a shot at the sumo match and wins after setting Bopobo's head on fire. Bopobo tries to retaliate against Killua, but is stopped by another pirate. The alliance members are then led to the pirates' lighthouse base and are introduced to Razor and the remaining pirates. Razor informs the group that in order to expel them from the town, they will have to beat eight pirates in a series of sports trials. Bopobo is adamant about having a rematch with Killua first, but Killua rejects him and says that he will fight Bopobo last, hoping that his team has seven wins by then. The alliance is then challenged by the pirate boxer, and Montreux accepts the challenge.[3]

After the boxing rules are explained and the bout begins, Montreux seemingly gets the upper hand on the boxer and knocks him unconscious, but after a few moments, Montreux is the one who falls unconscious upon the canvas. As Razor begins the ten-count, the pirate boxer manages to get back up in time and wins the contest. Killua reveals that the pirate boxer landed a teleporting punch on Montreux's chin to KO him. Next, the the pirate footballer challenges the alliance to soccer ball juggling, and Biscuit accepts the challenge. The pirate footballer explains the rules to the game, but as soon as it starts, Biscuit instantly fails it. Killua has his rematch with Bopobo, but throws the match as well. After five more losses, the alliance members are kicked out of the lighthouse. Figuring that the Bombers have no chance of getting the "Plot of Beach" card, the alliance dissolves, with only Gon, Killua, Biscuit, and Goreinu still wanting to acquire the card.[4]

It's later revealed that the Bombers tracked down and killed the alliance members who left the lighthouse.[5]
