Nick Cue (ニック゠キュー, Nikku Kyū) was a player of the Greed Island game, as well as a member of Team Kazsule and his alliance.[1]

Appearance[]

Nick Cue was a tall man of average build, who had hair greatly parted to the right side, a Roman nose, and thick eyebrows. He wore a plain tank top, pants, and boots.[1]

Personality[]

Not much is known about Nick Cue's personality, but he had some knowledge of how most spell cards in Greed Island worked.[2]

Plot[]

Greed Island arc[]

Nick Cue and Souheil are present when Gon trades his "Witch's Love Potion" to Kazsule for their "Book of V.I.P. Passes".[1]

Asta In Meeting About The Bomber

The alliance meeting

His team leader, Kazsule, organizes a meeting of different teams to discuss how to prevent the Bombers from clearing the game. Nick Cue mentions that the Bombers only need to collect four more cards. As a result, an alliance is formed between the groups and they decide to accumulate a monopoly on "Plot of Beach", one of the cards the Bombers have yet to acquire. With the use of "Accompany," the group heads to Soufrabi to acquire the card.[2]

The moment the alliance arrives in Soufrabi, Kazsule divulges how to acquire an SS-rank card. The alliance then splits into small groups and asks around town about the "Plot of Beach" card. This, however, proves futile as nobody in town has any information on it. After teaming up with Souheil and Manheim and finding some *NPCs who have heard about the card, Nick Cue mentions how strange it is since nobody originally told them anything. Manheim points out that there could have been certain conditions to meet, and Nick Cue agrees with him and suggests that they continue questioning the locals. Kazsule then finds a female NPC who has information on the card and will tell them it in exchange for driving Razor's pirates out of town. The alliance then heads to a local bar where they confront the group of pirates and are challenged to a sumo match by a pirate named Bopobo.[3]

Pirates And Guesses

At Razor's base

Zeho steps up to the challenge, but fails, so Killua tries and quickly beats the pirate. At the pirates' lighthouse base, Razor challenges the group to a series of sports trials. The first is boxing, and Montreux volunteers to take on the pirate boxer.[4] However, he's beaten by the pirate and the alliance loses their other matches with the other pirates and is kicked out of the lighthouse base. Outside, it's decided that the alliance will disband and everyone aside from Gon's team and Goreinu go their separate ways.[5] Nick Cue's name is mentioned in Gon's binder.[6] After Gon and his team beat Razor and his pirates, it's learned that the Bombers killed Nick Cue and the remainder of the alliance.[7]

Abilities & Powers[]

Gon's team estimated him to be too weak to defeat Razor's convicts, as turned out to be the case. He was also unable to see the pirate boxer's teleporting uppercut.[5]

Nen[]

Due to being able to access Greed Island, Nick Cue was capable of utilizing Nen.[8]
