Ogyu appears in the post-game seeking the 5 Goddess Advent Cards. He manages to collect 4 of the 5, however, Zegin Highline and his group steals them from him. So after a confrontation with Gon and Killua he joins them and seeks out the cards stolen from him as well as the last remaining card he has yet to achieve.[1]
When they manage to collect all of the cards they realize that one of them was the one Ogyu did not manage to collect so they seek out the final card that leads to a confrontation with the once thought deceased Amane who fulfills his goal of using Zegin's unconscious body for his own use. Amane and the manipulated corpse of Zegin fight the Hunter group and die.[1]
Now in possession of all of the 5 Goddess Advent Cards collected, Ogyu summons the Goddess from the cards and has his wish fulfilled. With that done with Ogyu goes off on another adventure but not before giving a ride to Romaria to the Midonite Government Environment Protection Bureau.[1]

Trivia
Edit
- His name is an anagram of "Yu-Gi-Oh", a famous Japanese manga and its main character.
- Much like the names of other Hunter × Hunter characters that appear written in an alternative way in some places (e.g. Hisoka's name as "Hyskoa"), his name is "Ohgyu" on a card that comes with Hunter × Hunter: Altar of Dragon Vein.
- According to Hunter's Genealogy Game Guide Book, Ogyu was drawn by Yoshihiro Togashi for the game.[2]
