Ogyu (オーギュ, Ōgyu), a game-only character from some of the Hunter × Hunter video games, is a Professional Card Hunter[1] considered one of the main characters.

Appearance

Ogyu has spiky blond colored hair and red eyes, while dresses in a motorcycle race suit and carries a stick that has a figurine of himself attached to one end.

Ogyu is capable enough to have passed the notoriously difficult Hunter Exam.

Nen

Due to being able to access Greed Island, Ogyu is capable of utilizing Nen.[5]

Trivia

  • His name is an anagram of "Yu-Gi-Oh", a famous Japanese manga and its main character.
  • Much like the names of other Hunter × Hunter characters that appear written in an alternative way in some places (e.g. Hisoka's name as "Hyskoa"), his name is "Ohgyu" on a card that comes with Hunter × Hunter: Altar of Dragon.
  • According to Hunter's Genealogy Game Guide Book, Ogyu was drawn by Yoshihiro Togashi for the game.[2]
