Quorolle (クオロール, Kuorōru) is a member of the Heil-Ly Family.[1]

Appearance[]

Quorolle is a young man with small, dark eyes and a small nose. His hair parts in the middle and falls over his ears. He wears a high-collar jacket that reveals some of his chest, pants, and boots.[2]

Personality[]

Quorolle seems to be more cautious than his fellow Heil-Ly members, Tevelares and Padaille, recognizing Hinrigh's Nen. Like his fellow members, he has sadistic tendencies and no qualms about killing many people.[2]

Plot[]

Succession Contest arc[]

Quorolle is seen with the other Heil-Ly members as Morena uses her Contagion on them one at a time and explains how her Nen ability works.[1]

Chap 391 - Three Heil-Ly members

Quorolle with Tevelares and Padaille spot Hinrigh in the distance

On Tier 3 of the Black Whale, Quorolle, Tevelares, and Padaille spot Hinrigh and recognize him as the underboss of the Xi-Yu Family. Tevelares says that he's underestimating them by being alone, adding that he doesn't stand a chance against all three of them. Quorolle points out Hinrigh's En and says that he will notice if they get within five meters of him. Padaille offers to attack Hinrigh first, telling the other two to look for an opening and finish him off. While Quorolle calls it a basic strategy and wonders if they should use their guns, Tevelares remembers that killing a Nen user gives them ten levels and wonders how they will split it amongst the three of them. Padaille says that all ten should go to the one who deals the killing blow, but Quorolle argues that they all should get something. Tevelares wonders who gets to decide the details, and Quorolle replies that it will obviously be Morena since it's her power and she's the game master, most likely able to tell what they're doing at all times.[2]

Chap 391 - Quorolle, Tevelares, and Padaille ready to attack

Quorolle, Tevelares, and Padaille prepare to attack Hinrigh

It's then revealed that Quorolle is an Emitter and repairman (level 22), Tevelares an Enhancer and civil engineer (level 24), and Padaille a Conjurer and demolition worker (level 29). After Padaille tries to attack Hinrigh and is restrained by him, Hinrigh tells Quorolle and Tevelares to attack him and call for backup since he still has plenty of pigeons. The two members draw their handguns and fire toward the pigeons and Hinrigh, but their shots are ineffective. Hinrigh explains that while the pigeons are made from regular handcuffs, they are reinforced with aura, and standard bullets won't be enough.[2]

Padaille's second attack injures Hinrigh, but the underboss restrains him once again and kills him with his own weapon. Quorolle and Tevelares make their escape as a crowd begins to gather, with Quorolle wondering what they should do given how troublesome the pigeons are. Tevelares replies that he doesn't want to get tortured over the location of their hideout, suggesting that they ask Morena for instructions.[2]

Chap 393 - Tevelares and Quorolle return

Tevelares and Quorolle back at the hideout

Quorolle and Tevelares return to the Heil-Ly's hideout, with the former asking the others if there are any Emitters since they need someone who can create projectiles. As Perigord comments on the popularity of Emitters, a university student named Matvere (level 18) happily says that he wants to be an Emitter and plans to use projectiles when he reaches level 21. Quorolle asks if he could handle handcuffs turned into pigeons, leaving Matvere confused. After Tevelares explains that the Xi-Yu underboss killed Padaille with his ability, and they need to destroy the pigeons at a distance, Matvere replies that he would need to try it to know for sure.[3]

Gelato, Quorolle, and Tevelares then enter a separate room and explain the situation to Morena, who emphasizes the need to analyze their opponents and use creativity. She explains that they don't need to rely on an Emitter if they can restrict the enemy or their ability. She then gives the example of an ability that tells one how many hits are needed to defeat an enemy, comparing it to a game. Quorolle realizes that she's the game master for a reason, and Gelato says that she will keep the idea in mind if she turns out to be a Conjurer. Morena asks if she wants to know her type, but Gelato replies that she wants it to be a surprise.[3]

Abilities & Powers[]

Nen[]

Quorolle is an Emitter. Having reached level 22 with Morena's Nen ability, Quorolle's aura amount and output have been increased. He also obtained a Nen ability, which remains unknown.[2]
