Rice (ライス, Raisu) is one of Queen Duazul's personal soldiers that's assigned to Prince Luzurus Hui Guo Rou.[1]
Appearance[]
Rice has round eyes, thick lips, a funnel nose, and neatly combed parted to the right medium-length dark hair. He sports a small, rectangular soul patch and a goatee. As a Royal Bodyguard, he wears a black suit and a tie.[1]
Plot[]
Succession Contest arc[]
On the ninth day of the Black Whale's departure, Rice answers the door when Prince Benjamin's personal soldier Shikaku rings the doorbell to the Seventh Prince's room. He asks Shikaku for his purpose, but Shikaku merely salutes and declares his loyalty to Prince Benjamin, before shooting himself in the head. Rice is visibly shaken and perplexed by the sudden suicide.[1]
He has calmed down by the time Kanjidol asks him to repeat his account, however, Rice cannot provide an explanation as to why Shikaku would kill himself in front of Room 1007.[2]
On the eleventh day, Rice and fellow guard Basho stay near Luzurus in his master bedroom, as Luzurus watches a movie.[3]
