His dark hair is arranged in a ridge-like haircut.[3] He has a dark, vertical line resembling a tear painted or tattooed under each of his eyes.[1][2] During his rap battle performance, he wore a black long-sleeved shirt underneath a patterned shirt,[3] whereas he dons a black suit with a white tie while on duty as a bodyguard.[1]
Personality[]
Little is known about Ridge's personality, but he seems to take freestyle rap battles rather seriously.[3]
Plot[]
Succession Contest arc[]
Because of Kurapika's announcement through the emergency channel that revealed the existence of Nen beasts, Prince Luzurus summons his hired Hunters Ridge, Scairt, and Basho to learn more about his Guardian Spirit Beast and Nen. Scairt informs the Prince about the conditions of a Nen beast and how it would take approximately a year to master Nen. Disinterested in learning Nen, the prince, informs the Hunters that their original plan involving his older sister Prince Tubeppa will proceed. He also notes his delight that a stalemate could happen because of the Nen beasts and they could dominate the competition if the other prince's guards are ignorant of Nen. The prince then orders the Hunters to guard him in rotations and report to him if they witness a Nen beast.[1]
During the first banquet, Ridge participates in a freestyle rap battle against Basho.[3] The following day, he is sitting on a sofa by a table with Basho. After a rumbling noise, the doorbell rings and it's "Shikaku" who pledges his allegiance to Prince Benjamin and then commits suicide. Under Famule's orders, Ridge and Basho stay in the Prince's room while the personal bodyguards search and examine the area of Shikaku's suicide.[2] He is present when Kanjidol questions him and the other bodyguards to further elaborate any information they have on his comrade's abrupt suicide.[4]
