"The era of hunting here may be coming to a close." — Risnorth in "Founding: Part 2" |
Risnorth (リスノース, Risunōsu) was the chairman of Mom's Help. He was also one of the human traffickers[1] involved in Sarasa's gruesome murder.[2]
Appearance[]
Risnorth was a tall and slightly muscular elderly man with slicked hair, sharp eyebrows, and sunken eyes. He had a prominent wart on the left side of his nose and a mole on the left side of his lower jaw. His chin was roughly trapezoid-shaped. The lines at the sides of his mouth and lower sides of his nose, together with his chin, trace an octagon around his mouth.[1] His outfit consists of a white polo shirt with a plaid tie under a business suit.[3]
Personality[]
Despite appearing as a calm philosopher, Risnorth was an extremely sadistic elder who took pleasure in killing and creating snuff films using children.[1] He was apparently able to hide both his nature and the source of his fortune even when his philanthropic efforts placed him in the public's eye.[3]
Background[]
Rinorth entered Meteor City targeting its inhabitants.[4] Due to increasing vigilance in the area, he and some accomplices decide to have one last round of "fun" if they encountered another child after having met their quota of children to abduct for that particular round of delivery.[1] The group came upon Sarasa in the Uga Forest dump, murdered her while filming the ordeal, stuffed her body parts into a bag, and affixed two messages, one to her forehead and the other to the trunk from which they then hung the bag.[2]
Risnorth would then become an entrepreneur and the Mom's Help Foundation's chairman, dedicated to rescuing unfortunate children. However, on August 19th, 1991, he was murdered in an unknown way. The media initially reported that credit for Risnorth’s murder had been claimed, but later retracted the report.[3]
Plot[]
Succession Contest arc[]

News media coverage of the tenth anniversary of Risnorth's death at the hands of an unknown assailant
On August 19th, the tenth anniversary of Risnorth's death and also the twelfth day of the voyage, a newscast broadcast on a lower tier of the Black Whale mentions his passing, achievements, and the growing public demand for the identification and capture of his murderer. Some spectators comment that a since-retracted report stated credit for the ordeal to have been claimed; others guess that it might have been bad for the perpetrator to be caught, and attribute it to matters concerning the dark web. Yet others mock the "untimely death of a philanthropist", and wonder who the morons are who take the media at face value.[3]
