Plot

Succession Contest arc

Because of Kurapika's announcement through the emergency channel that revealed the existence of Nen beasts. Prince Luzurus summons his hired Hunters Scairt, Ridge, and Basho to learn more about his Guardian Spirit Beast and Nen. Scairt divulges the conditions of a Nen beast and how it will take approx. a year to master. Hearing this dissuades Prince Luzurus from learning Nen as for its duration to master. The prince then informs the Hunters that they'll follow the original plan of taking out Prince Tubeppa. He also comments that a stalemate could happen because of the Nen beasts and their lack of knowledge on Nen. The prince then orders the Hunters to each guard him in rotations and report to him if they witness a Nen beast.[2]

In Kanjidol's cogitation of Shikaku's suicide, he concludes that it was a diversionary plot concocted by Prince Halkenburg. By using his mother's personal soldiers, he took advantage of the ensuing turmoil. At the time of the suicide, Queen Duazul's guards: Gadeau and Odessa, as well as, Prince Luzurus' Private Guard Macne and the Hunter Scairt slept in the breakroom. If any of them had a motive to do anything it would be Gadeau and Odessa. This leads Kanjidol to believe that Gadeau and Odessa may have compromised Macne and Scairt during the turmoil. If theoretically true, Macne would be a prime suspect of being an assassin. This is corroborated by the fact that he's assigned to guard the prince later that afternoon. However, Kanjidol dissuades himself from that last notion. As it's unlikely the two did anything to the sleeping Macne without awakening the Hunter Scairt.[1]

Later Kanjidol discloses his theory to Basho, who figured the same. Basho mentions a readjustment in the shifts will happen soon. Furthermore, he informs the solider that Scairt and Macne will be under surveillance for the sake of conspicuity, on the other hand, this opinion was shot down by Prince Luzurus.[1]

Abilities & Powers

Scairt has all the benefits granted by his status as a Hunter.[1]
