Seaquant (シークアント, Shīkuanto) is a Blacklist Hunter and a servant of the Zoldyck Family.[1]

Seaquant is a man of average height and build. He wears a light brown jacket with fur covering the shoulders and chest. He has spiky brown hair, which is kept up with a white head band.

Background

24 - Seaquant meets Mike

Seaquant meets Mike

Three years before the beginning of the series, he and 100 henchmen came to attack Kukuroo Mountain, but they were annihilated by Canary, a 10 year-old trainee attendant of the Zoldyck Family. Greatly shocked, he begged to become a servant of the Zoldycks. He is now good friends with Zebro, the old gatekeeper of the Zoldyck Family.[1]

Plot

Seaquant first appears when Gon, Leorio and Kurapika are lead to the house that he and Zebro live in. When Gon and company arrive at the house, Seaquant is surprised that to see that they have guests over. Seaquant also comments that if Zebro likes them, then they must be some eccentric kind of people.None the less though, Seaquant welcomes them and tells them to make themselves at home, but does mention that the house they live in is no palace.[2] After Gon and group complete the training given to them by Zebro and leave to go meet up with Killua. Zebro tells Seaquant that he's amazed that they completed the training in a mere 20 days have managed to open the Door of Verification, while Leorio has managed to open it up to set 2 of the 7.[1]

When Gon and friends are ready to leave Zebro and Seaquant's house Gon thanks Zebro and Seaquant for all the help they've given them. After Gon and friends leaves Seaquant being modest says that it was nothing and tells them to take care, to which Gon and friends say that they will. After Gon and friends leave while waving goodbye, Seaquant then tells Zebro that he recognizes talent in the three for becoming pro hunters. Zebro then wonders if the three will make it to the household, but Seaquant laughs and tells him to not dream so much. Seaquant reminds Zebro that three years ago 100 Blacklist Hunters that came to assault the mountain with their troops.[1]

Zebro then inquires if Seaquant meant the ones that were decimated by the butler in training... a 10 year old girl. He then tells Seaquant that he remembers a Blacklist Hunter who had been hired after being scared to death. Seaquant then comments that it was weird and terrible if you think about it, since everyone must stay in their own world. Seaquant then says that the entire Zoldyck Family and employees are monsters and comments how if only Gon and friends could go in by the other side.[1]

After the death of Chairman Netero, Seaquant appears at the Hunters Association's HQ to participate in the First Election for the 13th Hunter Chairman.[3] Later after the Second Election for the 13th Hunter Chairman, he gets a call from Zebro and is surprised that Killua has already returned. Seaquant tells Zebro that he was worried since Killua was on the abstainee list, which made him worried. He asks Zebro how Killua was, only to get a shock that he's managed to open the testing gate to level 5. Zebro then tells Seaquant that he was so worried about was Killua's expression, since he was so lost in thought he didn't dare speak to him. So Zebro then requests Seaquant that if his friend Gon is there, to tell him to be their for Killua. Seaquant then reluctantly Zebro that Gon is the problem that has Killua in the state he's in, which baffles Zebro as he then looks at the mountain, worried about Gon.[4]
