Swinko-swinko Hui Guo Rou (スィンコスィンコ=ホイコーロ, Sinkosinko Hoikōro) is the Fifth Queen of the Kakin Empire's eight Queens and fifth wife of Nasubi Hui Guo Rou. She gave him one son, 8th Prince Salé-salé Hui Guo Rou.[1]
Appearance[]
Swinko-swinko is a woman with short, fair hair and a rectangular face. Her hair stops above her ears and is parted over her left eye. She has beady eyes and a thin nose. She is seen wearing simple earrings, blush, and lipstick. She has a slim frame but wide hips. Unlike many of the other Queens, Swinko-swinko wears a shirt and pants instead of a dress; she wears a thin vest with sharp shoulders over a turtleneck, and has a sash around her waist.[2]
Personality[]
Though Swinko-swinko wishes her son would have more initiative and is critical of his messy lifestyle, she spoils him, even telling him that she would do what she can to help him win the succession contest as he lies in a messy bed with women, right after telling him to get his act together. Rihan notes that Swinko-swinko handles virtually every concern Salé-salé has, leading to him choosing to live a life of indulgence and carnal pleasures.[2]
Plot[]
Succession Contest arc[]
5th Queen Swinko-swinko is first seen as a silhouette introducing the eight wives of Kakin's King Nasubi Hui Guo Rou and later introduced as the mother of 8th Prince Salé-salé when Kakin's 14 Princes are first revealed.[1] Later, during the eve of departure festival, Swinko-swinko and the rest of Kakin's royal family are flown to Tier 1 of the Black Whale 1, where they reside for the duration of the voyage.[3]
While the Princes attend the departure ceremony on the first day of the voyage, Swinko-swinko's guard Woody is found dead and exsanguinated in the bathroom of Room 1014, the room of the Prince that Swinko-swinko had assigned him to guard and spy on, 14th Prince Woble. Woble's remaining guards speculate at what happened but are forced to cut their discussion short to prepare for Woble's return. After Woble returns, four more guards are found dead and exsanguinated, and one of Woble's guards explains the hierarchy of Queens. It is shown that 11th Prince Fugetsu has two guards chosen by her mother and five guards acting as spies chosen by the five higher queens, one guard-spy per queen, including Swinko-swinko. It is also shown that 12th Prince Momoze has one guard chosen by her mother, and six guard-spies, one chosen by each higher queen, including one chosen by Swinko-swinko, and that Woble, had seven guard-spies, one chosen by each higher queen, including Swinko-swinko's now deceased Woody.[4]
After their return from the departure ceremony, Sevanti orders most of Momoze's guards and servants to serve 13th Prince Marayam instead of her, and leaves Momoze with six guards,[5] including Swinko-swinko's guard-spy Tuffdy, who lies in bed waiting for an opportunity to assassinate her.[2]
Swinko-Swinko scolding Salé-salé
Four hours after departure, Swinko-swinko turns up in Room 1008, her son Salé-salé's room, and chastises him after finding him lying in bed with women surrounded by rubbish after a party. Swinko-swinko tells him enough is enough, then reminds him that he is her only Prince and to get his act together. Salé-salé brushes her off but Swinko-swinko refuses to leave, and tells him to mend his ways or he would be the first to drop out and miss the golden opportunity to inherit the throne. Salé-salé tells his mother to have a little faith in him, and tells her of his plan to change the world at the Sunday banquet on the eighth day.[2]
Later that day, Salé-salé is contacted by Room 1014 with an offer for up to two of his men to learn Nen under Kurapika in a two-week period.[6] At 9:00 a.m. the next day, Mushaho, Swinko-swinko's Captain of the Guards, turns up at Room 1014 as Salé-salé's representative, determined to complete the important mission of learning Nen that he believes cannot be entrusted to others, despite it requiring him to be away from Salé-salé.[7]
On the fifth day of the voyage, Rihan, one of 1st Prince Benjamin's guards, sent to spy on and guard Salé-salé on the first day,[8] prepares to release his Predator and eliminate Salé-salé's Guardian Spirit Beast. As he does so, Rihan notes that Salé-salé's Nen beast, created from his nature of reliance on his mother Swinko-swinko for everything while he satiates his carnal desires, is powerless against its natural enemy.[9] Without his Guardian Spirit Beast, Salé-salé is safely assassinated the next evening, by Yushohi's Stand By Me.[10]

This particular issue arose when their mother Queen Sevanti sent all of Momoze's Hunters and servants to Marayam. Since we only got to see 4/5 of Momoze's Hunters and 2/3 of her servants by that time, we can't say for certain which prince the marked characters initially belonged to. | |

Trivia[]
- Every queen of Kakin has a numerical theme on their names which corresponds to their marital status. スィンコ(Sinko) is a homophone for "Cinco", which means "five" in Spanish and Portuguese.
