Swinko-swinko Hui Guo Rou (スィンコスィンコ=ホイコーロ, Sinkosinko Hoikōro) is the Fifth Queen of the Kakin Empire and fifth wife of Nasubi Hui Guo Rou. She gave him one son, Salé-salé Hui Guo Rou.[1]
Appearance[]
Swinko-swinko is a woman with a chubby oval face with some blush on and wide lips. Her short hair is side-parted and only grows to her ears.[2]
Personality[]
Swinko-swinko acts very sternly, but while she's eager to support her son to win the throne, she finds it bewildering how her son acts rather indifferent instead.[2]
Plot[]
Succession Contest arc[]
Queen Swinko-swinko's name is first mentioned as the mother of 8th Prince Salé-salé when Kakin's 14 Princes are first revealed, and she is one of King Nasubi's 8 wives. She is pictured as a silhouette.[1]
Shortly after the departure ceremony, an unknown attacker kills five of Woble's guards, including an unnamed guard for Swinko-swinko. As a result, Kurapika uses his Dowsing Chain on the remaining guards and identifies two guards who are not truly affiliated with Kurapika's employer Oito. The guards are restrained and divulge the Queens' espionage system to Kurapika, Oito, and Woble's other remaining guard to explain themselves before they are murdered by Sayird when he gets manipulated by Momoze's Guardian Spirit Beast.[3]
The day after her son Salé-salé throws an extravagant party in his quarters, Queen Swinko-swinko confronts and scolds her son for not taking the Succession War seriously. Her son, however, confidently assures her that "He'll change the world" at the next banquet.[2] While releasing his Predator to eliminate Salé-salé's Guardian Spirit Beast, Rihan notes that the Prince relies on Swinko-swinko for everything.[4] Without his Guardian Spirit Beast, Salé-salé is safely assassinated on Day 7 by Yushohi's Stand By Me.[5] Swinko-swinko's son's death is kept hidden from the public at large, and his absence from the banquet is attributed to poor health.[6]

This particular issue arose when their mother Queen Sevanti sent all of Momoze's Hunters and servants to Marayam. Since we only got to see 4/5 of Momoze's Hunters and 2/3 of her servants by that time, we can't say for certain which prince the marked characters initially belonged to. |
Quotes[]
- "Salé! Enough is enough! You're my only prince!! Get it together!!"[2]
- (To Salé-salé) "No, you don't!! This is a golden opportunity!! I'll do what I can but... You have to mend your ways!! Or you'll be the first to drop out!!"[2]
