Tajao (タハオ, Tahao) is the Vice Boss of the Cha-R Family and Military Advisor to the private army of Prince Luzurus Hui Guo Rou.[1]

Appearance[]

Tajao is a middle-aged man of medium build. He sports a curtain haircut and dyed hair, his natural dark color visible in the shorter hair on his nape and his mustache. He has round eyes, noticeable dark circles, and gaunt cheeks.[1]

Personality[]

Tajao is a calm individual. He maintained his composure while discussing dire situations for his family and, although he was visibly affected by the suggestion that Luini may be after his boss' life, he continued the conversation in an even tone and smoking unperturbedly.[1]

Chap 384 - Spiders and Cha-R

Tajao discusses Morena with the Spiders

On the first Saturday of the voyage, at 22:30, Tajao walks down a secret passage connecting Tier 5 to the top tiers with Ken'i Wang while discussing Morena's disappearance. He proclaims himself in favor of letting the Royal Army search their hideout if it means doing the same to the ones of the Heil-Ly Family. When the two exit the passage and into the Cha-R Family Office, Ken'i introduces Tajao to Phinks, Nobunaga, and Feitan and tells him about the teleporting assassin. After listening to Ken'i's account, he agrees to prepare countermeasures and enquires about the Phantom Troupe's objective. Phinks replies and volunteers to take care of the assassin, stating his expectation that the assassin is bound to return to the Cha-R Family's hideout to use the passage to Tier 1. Tajao wonders why he would do that since Morena should have one as well, to which Phinks responds that perhaps he intends to murder his boss. Tajao warns the three Spiders that an all-out war may be approaching from which they cannot escape, depending on where Morena is found, due to the code of conduct among the three mafia families. He then weighs the pros and cons of Nobunaga's offer to kill Morena directly.[1]
