Did Bonolenov take the 289th Exam?[]
If you look closely near the top left of the second panel you can clearly see a man wrapped in bandages... now this could be him or someone else that just so happens to be wrapped up like a mummy in the series, but if this is true, the Bonolenov could very well now be a Hunter and will be seen in the Dark Continent arc as well.

Now that you mention it....You are very observant. It would be very interesting that person does turn out to be Bonolenov. But sadly we will have to wait for months (maybe years?) to see if your theory comes out true or not.
