He is first seen along with Lippo and Togari at the beginning of the the 3rd Phase of the Hunter Exam. The 3rd Examiner and Lippo oversee the Hunter examinees, as they try and make their way through Trick Tower.[1]
13th Hunter Chairman Election arc
After the death of Chairman Netero, he is seen at the Hunter Association's taking part in the First Election for the 13th Hunter Chairman.[2]

The Trick Tower's 3rd Examiner has all the benefits granted by his status as a Hunter.

As a Hunter examiner, he is capable of utilizing Nen, although he has yet to display any usage of it.

- In the 1999 anime adaptation the Trick Tower's 3rd Examiner has a full head of hair,[3] while in the manga and 2011 anime adaptation he's bald.[1][4]
