Summary[]

After Cheetu's new ability ultimately proves ineffective, Morel escapes from the Nen space and meets up with Knov, who has incapacitated and captured Flutter. As Leol and his squad look for the two Hunters in Peijin, the King underestimates the champion's commitment to Gungi and rips off his own arm as an apology. Shaiapouf pleads with him to receive medical attention and the champion refuses to play until his arm is healed, causing the King to finally give in and receive assistance from Neferpitou.

Pitou's Doctor Blythe begins healing the King, but the ability uses a considerable amount of aura, not allowing them to control the puppet soldiers or their En during that time. Knov knows that this may be his only chance to place an exit near the palace, and he successfully sets three but is unable to go any further once he encounters Pouf's En. He escapes and is overcome with fear, having a mental breakdown, and declaring that he can't return to the palace.

Taking advantage of Director Bizeff's lust, Palm infiltrates the palace and plans to get a glimpse of the King and Royal Guards so she can provide reconnaissance with her ability. In an underground chapel, Leol uses the ability of Morel's friend against him, but Morel's Deep Purple and lung capacity prove victorious and lead to the Chimera Ant's death. Ikalgo and a recovered Killua meet up with the other members of the Extermination Team and plan their infiltration of the palace.

Still unable to defeat the champion and seeing that she is unconsciously using Nen, the King learns that her name is Komugi, but realizes that he doesn't know his own. He asks each of the Royal Guards about his name, displeased with or ambivalent toward their responses. He speaks fondly of Komugi and understands that strength can manifest in different ways, initially regretting that he killed a young child on the way to the palace, but his mood quickly changes and he declares that his strength is to destroy those weaker than his. As the King enters Komugi's room planning to kill her, he finds an eagle attacking the girl and kills it to protect her, confused by how conflicted his emotions are. The citizens of East Gorteau begin their forced march toward the palace, hypnotized by Pouf's scales once close enough, and the Extermination Team (excluding Knov) ready themselves for the infiltration.

Author's Note[]

My assistant made this—it's a double-layered sticker. The top layer is just the fishing rod, so if you peel it off, it's just Gon punching! That's so awesome!!
