Summary[]
As Zakuro and Lynch begin to search for Hisoka on Tier 3 using the former's ability, Hinrigh uses his ability to secretly record a hallway in order to identify members of the Heil-Ly Family. He is then attacked by three Heil-Ly members before quickly killing one of them with his own weapon. After using the Xi-Yu Family's Misha Hao to discreetly dispose of the corpse, Hinrigh plans to bribe Corporal Maizan to learn the location of the Heil-Ly's secret hideout. Zakuro and Lynch quickly find Hisoka, who knocks the latter unconscious as she tries to use her ability on him. Elsewhere, Tsudonke continues his quest to buy autograph paper so that he can receive signatures from the Phantom Troupe. As Ken'i addresses several Cha-R members, he worries about the situation with Hisoka, the Heil-Ly, and the Troupe.
In the Cha-R's office on Tier 5, Luini kills several members of the family and is left disappointed after finally meeting Nobunaga, Phinks, and Feitan. Luini gleefully hopes that they will help him destroy the world, but Nobunaga swiftly kills him with his katana, declaring that the Troupe will crush the Heil-Ly all on their own. After waking up from being knocked unconscious, Zakuro and Lynch plan to look for Chrollo and ask for the Heil-Ly's destruction in exchange for Hisoka's location. In a movie theater, Hinrigh makes a deal with Hisoka and asks that he wait on Tier 1 until the Heil-Ly are eliminated, giving him a card to a room in the VVIP area. Elsewhere on Tier 3, Ken'i and Hinrigh work with Maizan to investigate the Heil-Ly's trapped room. In the Heil-Ly's hideout, the members continue to level up, and Morena gives instructions to each of them. On Tier 3, several soldiers (all of whom are friends with Prince Tserriednich) break into the Heil-Ly's office in search of Morena so that they can capture her without troubling the Prince. After the soldiers discuss the situation and Nen in detail, Borksen suggests that they avoid Morena at all costs while pretending to look for her.
After Hinrigh sees that the Heil-Ly members are most likely using a teleportation ability to enter their hideout, he and Ken'i discuss the situation with the six soldiers. As the three Troupe members investigate the space behind the trapped room, the resignation and anger of the Heil-Ly members cause Nobunaga to think about the founding of the Troupe. In a flashback at Meteor City, a young Chrollo is shown working with Pakunoda, Sheila, and Sarasa to dub videotapes of the Mighty Sweepin' Power Cleaners. After technical difficulties during the screening, the four voice the characters live on stage in front of all the other children, leaving them stunned by the performance. With Chrollo's other friends joining them, the group continues to perform live on stage and decides to call itself a troupe. Soon after, Sarasa is abducted and killed by unknown perpetrators, with the Troupe members finding her body in a nearby forest and then laying her to rest. With the exception of Sheila, all the members follow Chrollo's plan to avenge her death and protect Meteor City, unanimously choosing Chrollo as their leader.
Back in the present, as the three Troupe members thoroughly analyze the trapped room and prepare to enter the Heil-Ly's hideout, Ken'i introduces them to Hinrigh, who volunteers to enter first, swallowing a transmitter and giving them the receiver to track his location. Nobunaga eventually follows after him, and the two confront the Heil-Ly members in their hideout. However, they are quickly overwhelmed by Terebellum and Yokotani's abilities, with Nobunaga losing his katana before being expelled. Hinrigh then makes sure to vomit up and hide the transmitter before he is also sent back to the trapped room. Using the receiver, the three Troupe members then determine that the Heil-Ly's hideout is on Tier 2. On Tier 1, Izunavi asks Prince Tyson to convince her mother to ask the King at the next banquet to read the Book of Tyson, hoping that it can influence him to end the succession contest.
In the interrogation rooms at the Justice Bureau, Kacho's Guardian Spirit Beast (having taken Kacho's form) explains the situation to a distraught Melody. The two then work together with Kaiser, who expresses his love for Melody and proposes killing the higher-ranking Princes with a slow-acting poison at the next banquet. In the VIP Witness Protection Area, Kacho finds a hyperactive and exhausted Fugetsu, who reveals that she can use her Magical Worm ability all by herself and multiple times a day. After Fugetsu passes out, Kacho asks Melody for help, and Melody eventually walks by her in a hallway, seeing flies buzzing around her and multiple evil spirits attached to her. She then tells Kaiser that they shouldn't go through with the plan at the next banquet since they don't know which Prince is behind Fugetsu's changes. After Kaiser explains why she needs to be kept safe in custody, Melody asks him to visit Kurapika and to tell him everything they know, continuing to worry about the situation and saying to herself that she can't rule out any of the Princes or their people. In Room 1014, Longhi reveals to Kurapika and Bill that they can already use Nen, and Kurapika agrees to collaborate with Prince Tubeppa.
