Overview[]

Wild Luck Alexandrite is an item that can be obtained if a player gives everything the Sick Villagers ask for and then asks for nothing in return. A Paladin's Necklace is needed to cure their illnesses.[2][1]

Plot[]

Greed Island arc[]

HxH2011 EP67 Gon obtains the Wild Luck Alexandrite card

Gon with the "Wild Luck Alexandrite" card

When Gon, Killua, and Biscuit initially encounter the Sick Villagers and learn their story, the two boys give them 80,000 and their overshirts, expecting an item in return. However, the villagers give them nothing.[2]

Genthru tells Sub and Bara that they can take "Wild Luck Alexandrite" from someone who has it. After obtaining a Paladin's Necklace, Gon wonders if the Sick Villagers were cursed and if the necklace will work on them. Biscuit points out that they aren't cards, but Killua thinks that it's worth a try. Gon and Killua ask the villagers if they will trust them and put their lives in their hands. Taken aback, the village leader says that they gave them everything and asked for nothing in return, replying that they will trust them. The villagers then turn into "Healthy Villagers" and celebrate being cured, presenting Gon with the "Wild Luck Alexandrite" card.[1]

During the meeting with Kazsule's alliance, Killua reveals that while they have "Wild Luck Alexandrite", it wouldn't be practical to monopolize it. The other members are surprised and wonder if someone else already has it, learning that five other players do.[3]

After Gon introduces himself, Genthru says he saw that he has "Wild Luck Alexandrite". Discussing the situation with his team, Tsezguerra says that their "Voucher" will immediately transform into "Angel's Breath", with just "Wild Luck Alexandrite" left. Barry and Rodriot interject, saying that they will get the latter first because they will have bought Gon's team three weeks of time.[4]

Gon tells Genthru that he has 102 cards and 71 unique specified slot cards, and Genthru confirms that Gon is carrying both "Plot of Beach" and "Wild Luck Alexandrite".[5]
