The Wolf Pack (群(ぐん)狼(ろう)()()()()()()()(), Gunrō) consists of a bunch of wolf-like monsters that can walk and fight upright, and have decent combat abilities. They can reappear indefinitely until its leader, the Chief of Wolf Pack, is defeated.

The Wolf Pack is a group of monsters known to ambush players on the way to or from Masadora.

Plot

Greed Island arc

The Wolf Pack is indirectly mentioned by the Antokiba Trade Shop NPC and when Gon and his group exit Masadora in order to find a way to leave Greed Island, so Killua can take the 288th Hunter Exam, the wolves ambush the group, but the players handily beat them.

Card

The Chief of Wolf Pack is a C-rank card with a 45-card limit. Its designated number is 598.

Trivia

• The Wolf Pack do not officially appear in either the anime adaptations.
• Although not stated, the use of Gyo by Gon and Killua when they face the wolves and the visual effect on some of them, implies that these animals are Nen users; manifestly Gyo or Ko, Shu, and In.
